"I Didn't Think You'd Come" - in sound and vision

The entire audio clip for this scene can be heard by clicking this link: "I Didn't Think You'd Come - uncut"

*It's November the 4th and V sits in "Evey's Room", waiting, thinking*
Image
Image
*V can suddenly hear Cry Me A River*
Image
*smiles, as he knows what that means*
Image
*enters the main room of the Shadow Gallery ...*
Image
*... slowly ...*
Image
*... slowly ...*
Image
*Evey is standing by the jukebox*
Image
*... gets closer ...*
Image
*... and closer ...*
Image
*Evey listens to Cry Me A River*
Image
*what to say?*
Image
"I missed this song"
Image
"I ... didn't think you'd come"
Image
"I said I would" ... "Oh"
Image
*turns towards V*
Image
"You look well"
Image
"Thank you"
Image
"May I ... enquire as to how you've avoided ... detection?"
Image
"A fake ID works better than a Guy Fawkes mask"
Image
"Oh, heh"
Image
"I must confess every time I heard a siren, I ... worried about you"
Image
"I worried about myself for awhile ..."
Image
"... but then one day I was at a market ... and a friend, someone I'd worked with at the BTN, got in line behind me ..."
Image
"... I was so nervous that when the cashier asked me for my money I dropped it. My friend picked it up ... and handed it to me ..."
Image
"... she looked at me right in the eyes ... and didn't recognize me ..."
Image
"I guess whatever you did to me worked better than I'd imagined"
Image
*lowers head*
Image
*takes a step backwards*
Image
Image
*Oops, that came off a little harsh*
Image
*steps forward*
Image
"I ... have a gift for you ... Evey ... "
Image
"... but before I give it to you ... I'd like to ask you ..."
Image
"... something"
Image
"Would you ... dance with me?"

*end of this part of the scene*

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG

It's here.

It's really here.

This is my FAVORITE scene in the whole movie.

This was the inspiration for that fanfic I keep talking about.

This is the one that makes me almost cry every time I see it.

This is the one that makes the price of my ticket worth it.

It's that first approach, that desperate, hopeless disbelief that for once in his life, V might have gotten exactly what he asked for.

And it goes on. And on. And on. Until I'm almost sobbing on his behalf.

THANK YOU!!!

I am SO glad you're here, FSF!!!!

This was always my favorite scene in the movie next to the "I can't" scene. Thanks for posting, fsf. emoticon emoticon

FSF!
Sorry I haven't been around recently... emoticon

Once again my dear you have outdone yourself.

This is one of my favorite scenes as well.

So have you run out of requests now?

It seems you have computer novelized just about every scene in the film!

You do such a great job, maybe you should fill in all the other little scenes and have a complete CN version of the entire film! (No, No, No.....Only kidding FSF, please don't take me seriously). emoticon emoticon

Thanks again!

But you came back with a shiny new avatar.

(It's nifty keen, but takes a bit to load.)

Anyway.

HUUUUUUUUUUUUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WB, PWSULL!!!!

If it wouldn't be prohibitively long, I'd be tempted to second this request.

As it is, I kind of like going from one to the next in "chapters".

Yes I have, it's been quite a while since I had one actually.

emoticon not quite yet, it's a 2 hours and some minutes movie, remember emoticon

Oh, that would take some time, for sure emoticon I've been thinking about doing the scene, where V blows up the Old Bailey...

The question is if anyone will be interested in new CNs once they have their own copy of the DVD?

PS: love your new avatar emoticon emoticon

It could be fun to give it a try, but I think I'll pass emoticon

I'm glad to see your "kitty avatar" again, Mel, it's just so beautiful!

OOH!!! That'd make a lovely one.

I'll make an official request for that. emoticon

Yes.

It's like owning the movie and the GN. Both are enjoyable in different ways.

Plus, I can access this anywhere I can find a WiFi connection.

THANKS!!!!

BohWea did it for me. *polishes BohWea's halo and sharpens her horns*

That may well be my favorite picture of myself.

That said, I may be adding some to my collection when I go home again.
