"I Didn't Think You'd Come" - in sound and vision
The entire audio clip for this scene can be heard by clicking this link: "I Didn't Think You'd Come - uncut"
*It's November the 4th and V sits in "Evey's Room", waiting, thinking*
*V can suddenly hear Cry Me A River*
*smiles, as he knows what that means*
*enters the main room of the Shadow Gallery ...*
*... slowly ...*
*... slowly ...*
*Evey is standing by the jukebox*
*... gets closer ...*
*... and closer ...*
*Evey listens to Cry Me A River*
*what to say?*
"I missed this song"
"I ... didn't think you'd come"
"I said I would" ... "Oh"
*turns towards V*
"You look well"
"Thank you"
"May I ... enquire as to how you've avoided ... detection?"
"A fake ID works better than a Guy Fawkes mask"
"Oh, heh"
"I must confess every time I heard a siren, I ... worried about you"
"I worried about myself for awhile ..."
"... but then one day I was at a market ... and a friend, someone I'd worked with at the BTN, got in line behind me ..."
"... I was so nervous that when the cashier asked me for my money I dropped it. My friend picked it up ... and handed it to me ..."
"... she looked at me right in the eyes ... and didn't recognize me ..."
"I guess whatever you did to me worked better than I'd imagined"
*lowers head*
*takes a step backwards*
*Oops, that came off a little harsh*
*steps forward*
"I ... have a gift for you ... Evey ... "
"... but before I give it to you ... I'd like to ask you ..."
"... something"
"Would you ... dance with me?"
*end of this part of the scene*
The following scene "Would You ... Dance With Me?", can be seen in this thread.

This was always my favorite scene in the movie next to the "I can't" scene. Thanks for posting, fsf.

pw so glad to see you again

Once again my dear you have outdone yourself.
thanks, I'm glad you enjoy these little CNs

So have you run out of requests now?
Yes I have, it's been quite a while since I had one actually.

It seems you have computer novelized just about every scene in the film!
not quite yet, it's a 2 hours and some minutes movie, remember
quote:
You do such a great job, maybe you should fill in all the other little scenes and have a complete CN version of the entire film! (No, No, No.....Only kidding FSF, please don't take me seriously).
Oh, that would take some time, for sure I've been thinking about doing the scene, where V blows up the Old Bailey...
The question is if anyone will be interested in new CNs once they have their own copy of the DVD?
PS: love your new avatar

If it wouldn't be prohibitively long, I'd be tempted to second this request.
It could be fun to give it a try, but I think I'll pass
I'm glad to see your "kitty avatar" again, Mel, it's just so beautiful!
