Photography
Drawing/painting/sculpture - not my strong suit. But I've been told I "have an eye" when it comes to photographs... I've been thinking about trying to offer some of these for sale... All these were taken with digital cameras (that fact seems to shock some people).
This is another photo (like the Stonehenge picture I posted in another thread) that I blew up to poster size and have hanging in my living room. The day after I picked it up from having it framed, I had it in my office and got the best compliment - one of my coworkers was walking by, skidded to a stop, and came in to take a closer look, saying what a great photo it was. He did a double-take when I told him I was the photographer! Anyway, these buildings are in Brussels, Belgium:
This is one of my favorite photos from Paris:
This poster-print is hanging in my "dining area":
Last one, for now - The Eye in London:
I love playing with B&W, but I do have some good color ones - I'll poke around.

roght click--->open image.
worked for me like this.
Not bad, but i have to say that they are too pale to be superb bw photos.
Or do i just love vivid, strong colors? :)
But the motives themselves are cool.

Re: Photography
Beautiful pictures! I love them all. Unfortunatly I had a bad experiance with the London Eye. We had just came from Switzerland and my brother just had to go on the London eye and so we got the tickets and drove around and got the times for the London Dungeon and what not and then it was time to get in line.
After two hours of waiting in line we finally got to the front of the line and there standing in our way were two police men doing searches and metal detection buisness and then goes my dad, he empty's his pockets and there, he laid his new Officers Swiss Army knife just bought in Switzerland and his short littl one inch knife that he had carried around with him for over two years in case of thread emergency. Both were confiscated because supposedly ( We hadn't known obviously) a normal civilian could not even carry a lockable blade in their pocket, which I find is a bogus law.
I mean for example. Earlier that week we had been in Edenbrough Scottland (Pardon spelling if its incorrect) and this couple was trying to open up a bottle of wine interestingly by a fence..>> and so my dad walks over and offers to pull the cork out with his officers knife and so it was a good thing that he had the knife on him or they probably would have ended up breaking the bottle.
I must admit. England has some odd ways. When the knifes were confiscated I was already upset earlier because we didn't get to go to the London Dungeon and the London Eye and so I was pretty much ticked all they way up to the metal detectors, after it happened though I bursted into tears. It wasn't very pleasant.
I also have another sad experiance but I shant elaborate on that at this very moment. Too much to take in at once XD.
Once again, I love the images^^ So crisp and awesome depth within them! I particularly like the perspective of the Subway one.

In my defense:
1) It was Fall in Europe - very cloudy most of the time (as you can see)
2) I'm not sure they look their best on the web. The ones I've had printed are gorgeous.
Thanks for the compliments, all!
Apropos of nothing, this was my hotel room number in Amsterdam:
Okay, here's a color one I like - this door is on the side of a hotel in London:
This was the house I stayed in for the three months I was in London:

Oh well, I shall just have to imagine them. They're not showing up for me at all.

Thank you, thank you, Vi! I don't understand why it's not working. Even I can't see them now (at home, whereas I posted them at the office).
I'll try editing my posts.
EDIT: There, I uploaded them to PhotoBucket. That should fix things.

Re: Photography
ButMadNNW, your photos are pretty fabulous. Really - they're very cool indeed. Understated, powerful, beautifully composed and wonderfully shot. You should set up your own site of them...

Re: Photography
Ah! So many beautiful things and so little time for me to spend here at the board... *sigh*
Declan: I love b&w photography, it always seems to put things through a different perspective. I especially like your subway photo.
ButMadNNW: Gorgeous place, it makes me wish I was there!
JAD: Love the landscapes! And the bears photo's pretty funny!
