Dr. Delia, the "common household chemicals" thing hit me between the eyes. "Boy, that sounds familiar..."

All this violence has my mind in such a knot I don't know *what* to say right now! emoticon

Today, I was walking into the hospital and on the the back of a wheelchair I saw the name Hugo. I know it is not a huge moment, but I just giggled when I saw it...emoticon

Hahah, just because of Hugo Weaving? I just find it funny that you actually found that funny;P

I still remember that time when I heard Cry me a River at the shopping mall when I was probably the only one listening. It was so uncalled for.

Martin, be nice to the newbies.

Anna, I can totally relate. When you've got a certain association to a name and then see/hear it somewhere, it can be hugely entertaining, even though you're the only one entertained. emoticon Or it can be distracting (like hearing your SO's name in a conversation, though they're talking about someone completely different).

Tonight we had Subject Selection night at school for Year 11, and I got bored and started drawing on people's faces on some of the pictures on the flyers emoticon And on one of the girls faces I put a French-ish mustache, a triangular goatee...and, well you can guess where it went from there emoticon

Dear Lord, she looked like V!

emoticon Hi Devilish! nice to see you around.

There is so much from this film that has been integrated into my life vocabulary, and the film somehow lends itself to becoming a life oracle of sorts....

lines come to me regularly, like:

"You can do this."

"It's time."

and those moments just RESONATE now, with the weight and drama of the film.

behold, the power of V! emoticon

The bus ride from Liverpool Street station to Covent Garden, which I took this afternoon, is a particularly Vicarious one emoticon On the way, you pass by - in this order - Finch Lane, the real Shadow Gallery, and the old Strand Underground station.

my i-Pod is playing V-ish things with increasing regularity, as I prepare for the Vixens in London tour.

"SH-sh-sh-sh!" comes on while i ride the metro, and I grin like the happy crazy woman I am!

So. FSF, iseult, and I did two London Walks today: Occult London and the Da Vinci Code and Jack the Ripper. Before and in between these walks, we wandered around a bit on our own, including visiting the Globe, where I got to play tour guide a bit. emoticon

In the course of the day, we had the magic number of 5 V-icarious Moments! We saw:

1) the V for Vendetta DVD for sale at the Globe
2) "Jordan Tower" (again)
3) Aldwych Station (which used to be the Strand, AKA the platform from which V makes his final departure)
4) Parliament (again)
5) the HUGE screen at Piccadilly Circus.

And one Harry Potter *SQUEE* - our first tour guide pointed out the Australian High Commission building, where they filmed the interior of Gringotts Bank! emoticon

Lots of fun, lots of squee-ing! emoticon
