Re: Spring onion for breakfast?
Firstly, nice job FSF for spoting that! After many viewings, I haven't noticed it, and probably wouldn't have noticed in the future. It always surprises me when someone here catches something new and shares. You'd think that after all this time we saw all there is to see. Fortunately (and that is a mega huge fortunately) it is not the case.
I can't help but wonder why he would leave something like that out. It's not in his nature to be untidy. Perhaps the onion played a part in his own breakfast, and he didn't get a chance to clean it up. And then, he made Evey the neutral eggy-in-a-basket, because he wasn't sure whether she liked onions or not.
Personally, I love spring onions in my eggs. They're delicious in omelettes and in scrambled eggs. The more ingredients, the better I say!

onions and eggs in the morning? I'm not sure I would like that combination, but then again - I haven't tried it yet

It sounds delicious - but I'm not sure that I would be able to eat it for breakfast
