*takes that as the compliment it is*

Me too.

I would've loved to see a real match-up between V and Evey, especially one that developed not only her character, but the bond between them. In an odd way, they have parallel lives; both have lost everything because of Norsefire and the actions of Sutler's government.

Ha ha ha! I'm just now looking at what I wrote this morning — what the heck is that supposed to mean? Is there some pseudo-psychic spell check on this forum that makes my fingers type such blather?

What I meant to say, of course, was "I, for one, am glad you've recanted."

Forgive my cerebral flatulence, my ardor persists unabated.

What a wonderful view into their dynamic - and into how Evey was being prepared to step into V's place.

THANKS!!!

That was what I was hoping to do; macing someone in the face is very different than hand-to-hand combat. Several Viction authors have tackled the idea of V giving Evey some pointers on self-defense. I thought one of the reasons he would've been willing to defend and protect her is because he could see that she would very quickly be able to look after herself. This is an extension of that assumption.

YAY!!!!! And I love fiesty ladies. In addition to being dead sexy, they're more fun to write and easier to sympathize with. I like my ladies with a little bit of attitude, a lot of smarts, and a wry sense of humor. Same with the gents, with a fine edge of civilized danger.

Which is why V is my new god.

Brava, Kitty!

*wriggles even more ecstatically* YAY!!!!

It's all your fault, Ven. I have another one (a prequel) on the back burner too. And a third is traipsing around the edges of my subconscious.

*holds plate out for second helping of words/crow to be eaten*

Please, sir, I want more.

(Round cake = originally shaped to represent the round moon, which in many traditions is associated with female power.)

And if any artwork happens to shake loose, please do let me know.

That's okay, I knew what you meant.

YUP!!! I tried to reply to your e-mail, but my outlook express account is being a butthead and needs to be tuned.

How's Minn?

Cold and dry. It's weird not to have any snow.

And the book SCREENPLAY BY DISNEY has caused a Villain in my head to pipe up and burst into song.

*muzzles Villain so she can get back to screenplays in progress*

*Hero and Heroine join together for their own anthem*

*MelindaKitty gathers rogue characters together, shoves them in a room, slams the door shut, and nails it closed*

Focus. Must have focus.
