Re: Welcome to the fan fiction forum
I'm a little hesitant to mention it, given the high level of quality I've seen here so far, but I suppose I'll go ahead.
I've got a work-in-progress up on fanfiction.net, called "Dum Spiro, Spero" under the same pseudonym. The link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2863653/1/
Any thoughts or constructive criticism would be appreciated.

The way you described V getting "outfitted" at the beginning of the movie --- even down to the sound his knives made when being holstered --- made me weak in the knees!
Huh? Did I miss that? Someone direct me to it!! Pretty please??
I saw it on the IMDb boards, most likely under the "Ladies: Sexiest Scene" thread. (sorry 'bout the confusion!) It's really worth looking up, she did a fantastic job! *shivers*

Re: Welcome to the fan fiction forum
I don't know if I'll attempt any fanfic for this; I'm not sure there's enough "source" for me to play around with. I like to have a world to play in sizable enough to have some established rules and enough variation for gray areas, so you can bend the rules for your own agenda. If that makes any sense.
The only fanfic I've ever attempted (as memory serves) was for "Highlander: The Series." I completed one story and started a sequel.
The story I completed got a lot of good reviews - not just from the other forum members, but even from people I gave it to who'd never seen the show. However, best review I ever got:
I was at a "Highlander" convention. I'd printed up a cover page for my story, in the hopes of getting some autographs on it. I was showing it to a friend when another girl passed by. She stopped dead in her tracks, looked at the cover page, and asked me, "Did you write that?"
"Yeah."
"I love that story!"
Sorry, I know that had nothing to do with V, but I thought I'd share.

Thank you, Leda74! That's very flattering considering the wonderful and evocative piece you posted here. The imagery was so vivid and you did a marvelous job of conveying V's emotions.
Besides, I already bow down for the originator of the legendary "Ladies: Sexiest Scene?" thread
(I can't recall if I mentioned it in my intro post, but I go by rkinsler-1 on the IMDB board.)

I kept myself awake to read this. Wonderful work! Keep it up!
I was especially intrigued with the doctor's level of familiarity with V's history, and I thoroughly enjoyed the detail given in the third chapter. :)

Re: Welcome to the fan fiction forum
Chakram, I just finished reading "Dum Spiro, Spero" and I gotta say this --- You Rawk!!! I enjoyed all 3 chapters and look forward to the next installment.
I'm so impressed with the talents of the writers here. You all have such a wonderful way of expressing yourselves, something I'm just not very good at. Thank you for sharing your V fanfic, it's really helping to ease the pain of V dying in the movie!

Re: Welcome to the fan fiction forum
Thank you, Shadow91 and V Dazzled. I appreciate the kind words.
Hopefully I can put some more lovely V in there soon. It's kind of difficult to make him sexy and mysterious when he's bleeding on the floor.
