Re: Finally - a video
well, it´s just as simple as choosing the rigth template.
I don´t use window movie maker, but, every tool
of that type has 2 simple things one can check.
the audio "bit rate", and the video "bit rate"
"bit rate" stands for how much amount of traffic is
avaliable for sound and video. My guess is you
choosed a small "bit rate" template.
to get good results, just follow this 1 simple step:
This should give you a perfect video and sound!
Cheers:)

Re: Finally - a video
it´s ok!
I just forgot to say is better to save your final
clip with the first option, "save in my computer"
you probably knew, but anyway.
now...
I´ve just been exploring what else can you do
with Windows movie maker. And there´s only
one thing I don´t like in it, the rest is just fine!
the thing is it always resizes film to fixed sizes.
say you have a video with size 576 x 432
(this is the size of the xvid dvd V movie preview)
it would be expected that 2 options would be avaliable
when saving your final movie clip. Those should be:
"keep origional size"
or
"choose your costum size"
the thing is those templates only give fixed sizes.
that works ok most of the times, but sometimes...
it does not!.
when saving a film that is for ex: 320 x 252 size,
you are only given 2 choices: 1st- "best quality...etc".
this option willl output to a size to "640 x 480", not
even respecting that the double of 320 x 252 is;
640 x 504
and not
640 x 480!
and this un-necessary "doubles" (in this case it does not
really "doubles"...) the file size! and it distorts it a bit,
though here one wouldn´t really notice it to much.
and the other avaliable choice is the one I showed you.
well, it´s "almost" ok, but here the thing is that a 512k
reasonable template outputs the file size to 320 x240.
it´s ok if the source size is 320 x 240, but if it is not,
say, if it is like those clips of V on the net (bigger size),
then you have a smaller output, diferent from source.
but ok, ok, this templates are based in standards,
so, most cases things work just fine! no problem!
I´ve heard next version will give you these missing choices.
Apart from that, it´s an exellent tool!.
