"Faith" - Music Video
 It's finally done! My first V for Vendetta music video, my first music video created entirely in the computer, and my second music video ever. (The first, 7 years ago, was created with VHS tapes and linked VCRs - this was a lot easier.  )
A little background: Sister had me watch Rumor Has It back in June. During one of the scenes, I wasn't paying much attention to the music until one line caught my ear and Evey immediately came to mind. I grabbed the remote and backed up the movie, listening more intently, and more and more V images flooded my mind. What you'll see has undergone very little change since I first conceived it.
Well, anyway, I hope you like it! It was fun, it was frustrating, it was frustrating fun.  As always, thanks to krydiam for hosting and setting up the streams.

Wow. I must say, it´s both beautifull and sharp.

Thank you for the kind words, Penny! I'd never heard the song before seeing Rumor Has It (the song is on the movie's soundtrack CD; I downloaded it from MSN Music), and as I say, the moment I heard it, it inspired all sorts of V images. And it keeps getting stuck in my mind. So yes, it does fit really well...
Can I be self-indulgent? I hate to gush about my own work, but I really am quite pleased with the way it turned out - the way some of the images/moments are synced with the audio, the transitions (I'm happy I figured out how to do fades!  ), how the images I chose before I ever started working on this blended really well (like there being a blank space in one image and the face in the next image was lined up to fade up into that space). There was one clip I cheated on - I flipped it so I could get that "face fading up on the opposite side from the face in the previous image" effect.
The next video I have in mind to do, I expect it to be harder, as it's an instrumental piece. I personally think it's easier to "storyboard" to lyrics... But while this video was a sort of "love letter" (letter of devotion? a promise?) from Evey/the Vixens to V, the next will incorporate more of the movie, including Norsefire, explosions, and fighting. Hopefully it'll work out and be interesting.

Downloading tip: Some people (especially those with slow connections) might find it easier to right-click on one of the download links and choose "Save Target As..." - you can then download it to your hard drive and play it when the download completes, rather than waiting on buffering.
