Last weekend, I started work on #2, never fear! But the first few seconds of the song were so tough to choreograph the video to, I lost my ability to concentrate on it. I had to stop and do something else. So this one might be slower going, but I'll get it done!  I'm worried, though, due to the nature of the song, I'm worried how the video will work out. There are some considerations I didn't realize when I conceived the idea. (Worth noting that this second video was actually my first idea...)
I've told a few people here what the next song is, but I'm trying to keep it a "surprise" - I just hope it's a nice surprise and not a screwed up one.  But if my initial thoughts are met with  reviews, I can perhaps rework the concept... This is why I plan to hang on to the project files even after the video is saved! 
I'm babbling.
In other news, anyone else see the news story about Universal Music Group being idiots in regards to YouTube and MySpace? Can't appreciate free publicity when they see it - heck, my video alone, every person has told me that the song is new to them, and several are planning to download it; I wonder how much money I've made the artist and her record company?

ButMad, I just watched it again, needing a V fix, and its true, I really like the song and will get it from i-tunes.
What I saw today was this wonderful dialog - Evey wanting V to believe in her, yes, but also V needing, and getting, in the end, someone to believe in him completely, . I choke up when he holds her hands in the station, knowing what is to come; I am jolted by grief when she lays the rose, ('No! not YET!" the way death always seems to come...) but then her face, her glowing face in the fireworks light, I am running out of words.
You really bring out the intimacy in their relationship. thank you again.

Wow... I did all that?  (I love it when someone sees interesting layers I didn't realize I was putting into my work! - writing or otherwise. Though it does depend on what they're seeing and whether it completely clashes with my intent.  Which is definitely not the case here.)
*thinks* Yeah... it does fit both ways, doesn't it?

two other things I notice, when EV hands him the Valerie note, Venus is behind her. Without the dialog of the film, the visual says "here's a love note" 
also, I never noticed during the kiss, that first he moves back ever so slightly, then presses forward. was that your edit? mmmmm.
So many times when that kiss comes, I am heartbroken that they cant really connect, and I have focused on the awkward way her lip slips off the cold mask, and I just break inside... in your video I see more of a real exchange.
howd you do that?

 No, with the way Evey moves forward kind of jerkily/abruptly, I don't see that...
You'll notice the musical line there is "You are the care of a prayer I love," and I managed to get the edit so V's glove takes the note on the word "care" - My intent was that Valerie's inspiring note was going back into V's care... something like that.
Also note that Valerie is behind V on the line "You are the hope I cherish" - your choice whether that applies to V or Val... - and one of my favorite transitions is right there: as Evey moves forward to give back the note, she comes "through" Valerie's image... (I made a screencap of that, but it's on my laptop. I'll try to remember to post later. *thinks* If FSF is listening: did I send that pic to you, or do I just think I did? )
I had fun playing with my own symbolism.

All I did was clip a bit of that scene, I didn't make anyone move.

You did send me one with the title "Evey fading in under Valerie" I think it must be it. I can only see the small grabs you've sent me though, if I click them, the msn.com page just says "loading".

Screenshots of some of my favorite transition moments (apparently, I uploaded some to Photobucket and then forgot to post them) - they're kind of dark, sorry:
(On this one, I love how the circle of the firework fits so neatly within the circle of the tunnel.)
There are a couple others at home, if I remember to upload them.
