I think what he's saying is some people just HATE You Tube and won't go there.
I was one of those people for a long time.  I'm still not overly fond of YouTube, but it's someplace to put these things. And they have those counters that let me see how many people have watched, etc....

You tube compresses everything to 320 x240 flash
format. Higher quality/resolution for stream here
may and should be better/biger, of course!
I only saw 2 videos at 320 x 240 in the server, but I
will have to chech wich are. I change names for
easy work. The others are all 640 x320. 
oh, and sorry about my suggestions. It´s your work.
Anyway, google does the job for us, really!

Hey, if I didn't want suggestions, I wouldn't have asked.
The main reason I have them on YouTube is that I don't have the energy to maintain my own site right now, and I don't know any other way to get the videos quickly and easily into the public eye. And yes, I do these for my own amusement, but it's still nice to share, too. And being able to see that people are partaking is nice.
I had embedding disabled because - quite frankly - I didn't know what that would mean, letting other people embed my video - would my view counter go up? Would this happen? Would that happen? I didn't know.
But I enabled embedding and googled myself again - watched my own video on those other sites - and it does look like that still gets counted. So I guess I'm okay with embedding, now.... Kinda wish more people would rate and comment, though... (which is one of the things I disliked - and still dislike - about YouTube. It starts becoming all about stats. Yet another popularity contest..... Er, sorry for the diversion there.)
I'm still learning, experimenting. Be patient.

I like youtube, but for some quality works (videos) that
small flash videos don´t work for me.
Youtube is wonderfull, it really gives everybody a chance
to post their works, ideias etc. It´s just the quality issue
that bothers me a litlle, but I understand them.
100 M limit with that kind of compression is very good
indeed, and we´re talking millions of users.
It is expensive for them to maintain that, and for free!
