Re: Favorite Book
Okay, I know I keep posting here more than anybody else, but I have another one.
It is called "Arena" and it is by Karen Han****.
It's about this college student who volunteers for a psychological experiment at her school, and she gets thrown into this entirely different world and has to figure how to get out. It was a great book.

Re: Favorite Book
Belatedly, I do have another favourite book; "Deepsix", by Jack McDevitt. I pick it out because while I normally don't read sci-fi novels, I devour this one, and I'm on my fifth reading in eighteen months.

Harry Potter series

Re: Favorite Book
Interview with the Vampire is my favourite book.
I also really loved The Nanny Diaries. That book was just great for anyone that has ever taken care of kids and even for people that haven't (since I've barely been around any little kids) it's still hilarious.
And, I just read all the Harry Potter books about 6 months back (I read all 6 within ONE month (including the time it took to get copies from the library) -- a fact I am very proud of. ) and I really love those too.

Re: Favorite Book
I thought of more books I love. I can't believe I forgot them: The Chronicles of Narnia! My very favorite of those is probably The Silver Chair.

Re: Favorite Book
I'm a real geek. I love 1984, and basically anything else that's dystopian. I also really like The Metaphysics of Star Trek and The Ethics of Star Trek because they deal with philosphy.
Oh, and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep rocks, too.

Is that the book that inspired Bladerunner?

Yes it is! Read it if you haven't already. The author is Philip K. ****.
Edit: LOL This board is censoring his last name! It's the nickname for Richard.
