Re: What books are you reading?
Just bought a complete and unabridged book of five of Mark Twain's novels:
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
The Prince and the Pauper
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court
Pudd'nhead Wilson
(I Barnes & Noble for their "Library of Essential Writers" series)
--- "My turn!"

Re: What books are you reading?
Finally finished Peter Pan and got to start Storm Front (Book 1 of The Dresden Files). Three chapters down...
"Is this, um, Harry Dresden? The, ah, wizard?"...
No, I thought. It's Harry Dresden the, ah, lizard. Harry the wizard is one door down.
Paranoid? Probably. But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face.
I was a wizard, throwing around real magic, I reminded myself. I was not afraid of big men in big cars. I do not get rattled by corpses blasted from life by magic more intense than anything I could manage. Really. Honest.

Re: What books are you reading?
Reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Ron and Hermione are being stupid teenagers. Again. (I'm a little less than halfway, I think. Book's in other room, I'm too lazy to go check what page I'm on - and racing the Backup Interruptus.)
After that, I'm planning to read HP7 so I can catch up to the rest of the world.
Then, into some adult books, I think - I was itching to read some more Val McDermid just before I found my copy of HP6, so I'm thinking about reading her second Dr. Tony Hill book, then Jim Butcher's second Harry Dresden book, then the third book of each series... but we'll see.
And yes, I am mostly just talking to myself here.

Re: What books are you reading?
I'm currently reading "Pretties," by Scott Westerfield. (It's the second book in the "Uglies" trilogy.)

I'm quite sure they will say so.

Re: What books are you reading?
Not Ours to Keep by William Campbell - which *strongly* reminds me of early Koontz. So, if you're a fan of Dean Koontz - I *highly* recommend this one!
Teaser: What if you LOST everything you lived for?
What if you FOUND it again ... in a cemetery?
What if IT found you?
Book can be found HERE.
