Re: Tattoos 'n' You The only tattoo I'll ever get is those fake ones you put on with water. LOL I'm too fickle to have something permanent done to my body.

Re: Tattoos 'n' You How did I miss this thread?!?!?
I know silly question - I've been pretty absent over the past several months.
All of you probably already know this, but there are pictures of my tats in the pictures thread.
I have four, although it looks like I only have three.
#1 - butterfly on my right shoulder blade (became a part of #4)
#2 - ankh on my inner right arm, just below the elbow
#3 - eye of horus surrounded by hieroglyphs that read "music is life"
#4 - a memorial tat for my grandfather - a fairy sitting upon a banner that reads "Papa" with some butterflies (including my original) and some fairy dust.
Will definitely be getting more in the future. Just have to finalize the designs.
Lol! Me too! Now we get to go on about our tatts all over again - Yay!
#1 - A squigly heart pattern on my stomach (left)
#2 - A pawprint with my husband's name underneath on my stomach (right)
#3 - A bunch of stars on my ankle
#4 - A butterfly on my wrist
#5 - V tattoo! My favourite, it's a work in progress. So far I have two crossed daggers with 'Freedom Forever' written underneath. Next addition will be a Scarlet Carson behind the whole thing.
Iseult, you must return to London so we can do a V tattoo excursion!
I will also get more. Can't get enough of them! I won't be satisfied until I can't see my skin anymore!
Re: Tattoos 'n' You I've been planning to get a tattoo for a few years now and I still haven't gotten around to it, I've had a few ideas but I've always later changed my mind. It's more the worry that I wouldn't be able to find a good tattoo artist (Perhaps this is strange but I see the tattoo as their mark on my body, not in a weird ownership way, but they're an artist and i'll have a part of them on me forever) so I want to actually like the person who will give me the tattoo.

Believe me, that makes perfect sense. I'm the same way! I've found an artist I like...now, it's just a matter of being old enough. (he refuses to tattoo ANYONE under the age of 18, even if they have parental consent.)

I'm quite sure they will say so.
