Re: V on horseback!

I have had my picture of V on horse in my living room since I painted it, it has started to bother me!
Just look at the flippin' length of his arms!! What was I thinking?! emoticon

And besides, he's never gonna work that horses' topline properly like that!

And why the bejesus did I give the horse a flowing mane and tail, yet V's hair remains static?!!

Grrrrr! I couldn't just leave it up to imagination could I? I just had to see what V would look like on a horse and now I've ruined the fantasy forever - Doh!

Well at least if I can't paint, at least I've got my self criticism to fall back on! emoticon

Here. If it makes you feel better, even top-line artists sometimes make the same mistake:

...and that painting recently sold for £744,500 emoticon

But just look at all their perfectly proportioned arms!

Proportion isn't an absolute in art, either emoticon :

You've got me there emoticon

Let's just say, I saw the arm for twice as long and that V's hair is immune to the effects of a windy day or fast moving steeds.

My mistakes were deliberate, I've always said as much. emoticon

OMG! It's awesome! emoticon You're so good with colour. I'm an art student, but I'm hopeless with colour, I can only do back&white and pencil.
