Vinspiration Here are a few little sketches I have made - they are wild and loose - somehow I need to channel Venergy through my lower chakras, not my cognitive mind!
My early reaction to V and V4V was a surge of liberation energy, an unleashing of something primal, sexy, angry and so alive! (You can see him in the background of # 4 - but he is the force behind all this movement...)
at least, thats what's coming through in the artwork.
These are acrylic on watercolor paper - I apologize for the lousy photos - since they are shiny, there is a lot of "flash bounce" on some of these - I need to re-shoot them.
Re: Vinspiration oh man. you do abstract. i love abstract. and yuo can do it with PAINT. i can't paint for the life of me. not well, at least. and these are wicked-- i particularly like the third one down, it really gets me for some reason.
love the Plato's cave sketches! that piece is hardcore and you totally did it justice.
Re: Vinspiration It's interesting...looking at them again, my physical reaction is that they hit me somewhere in my chest...as I put a hand on where it affects me, the sensation is mostly below the "V" of my collarbone and a bit in the solar plexus. Mostly in the upper chest, though. I don't know a lot about chakra work or what that might mean...but I definitely have a physical reaction along with the mental. The first one especially, and the third one down after that, hit me hardest.
Re: Vinspiration The first one is my favorite. I love the shape of her body and her movement. She conveys a real sense of joy and freedom, with not an ounce of self-conciousness.
