Thanks LadyV :) I had great fun with the paintings in the background, and Waterhouse is one of my favourites artists so had to get that in there somehow emoticon

You did very well indeed but words cannot describe my gratitude for such a peice. I am in awwe. It inspires me to do a painting of him.

::And so begins the nature of a girl to paint whatever she has on mind till it satisfies her. A very hard pounding process that may take anywhere from a couple days to three years XD::

I need to draw attention to this line from LadyVendetta..

Yep. Give him a little santa hat, give it a little jingle and maybe he will come down your chimney. (He'd be a better fit than the fat man in red anyway).

Violet, thank you. *bows*. And I really really do share your pain at the painting started in one century and finished in another lifetime. emoticon

I know it has been said repeatedly Bohwea, but that is truely awsome work. Would that I could do the same but I have far too much trouble with drawing the male form (clothed or not) to try to attempt something like that. The only reason I think I can draw the female is because I have an easier time with a soft curve over a strong angle...Or I spend too much time staring >.< emoticon

Thank you Vel. emoticon
The female form is a lovely one to draw, a landscape of soft curves and shadows - the male is harder, I think. Harder, more angular and with less obvious 'features' to get a grip on - erm, speaking figuratively.
But what I like best (Lotte said) is drawing the male face - as long as it's an interesting one.

Now that I'm thinking about it..I couldn't possibly do V, but I could certainly do just a little sketch of Evey..perhaps an 'after the movie' sort of thing..I'm going to have to think and work on this, and maybe some day get a scanner...

I need to rinse my brain one of these days. "Come down your chimney" just sounded downright crude emoticon
