Who are You, Vexing Visages, & Noticeboard membership requirements
Ok, you've just signed up for a new account here on Runboard.com.
Now you want to tell us who you are, right? But when you go to the two forums listed above, you find you can't read or post in them.... Here's why:
As a deterrent to random trolls and would-be stalkers, we have made these forums which contain more personal information about ourselves just a little harder to gain access to. Now you have to be an actual member of the board itself in order to access these forums.
In order to become a member of the board, you simply need to post one time in any other forum besides the "Who are you" or "Vexing Visages" forums.
You're here to discuss V for Vendetta (or related topics) right? Well, go to the 'Vendetta Verbiage' forum and post a reply there and Voila! You are now a member... Free to post anywhere you like here on this board.
Oh, and thank you for joining! We hope you feel at home here and stay awhile.

UPDATE (November 22, 2006): Membership to the board is still gained simply by posting somewhere on the board. However, due to a Runboard glitch a while back, we had to change how access is gained to the Members Only threads (Who are you?, Vexing Visages, and the Vixens' Noticeboard).
Those three threads are now Invite Only. Normally, the Administrators notice a new member fairly quickly and add them to the access list. But if it's been a few days and you still don't have access to the Members Only threads, feel free to bring it up - send a PM to one of the Admins (Leda74 or ButMadNNW).
