Actually I joined the other board because I was under the impression that this board WAS migrating. I didn't want to get left.
I do like the color scheme and banner here better. It's more "V." The banner posted on the previous page is really cool, though. I like it better than the dominoes; it fits the Ladies better. Needs to be bigger though. It's MUCH too short. (I LIKE being able to see V. He almost disappears in the shortness of the banner.)
I do HATE the business of all the emotes, quotes, etc going to the bottom of the page. When you reference other people's quotations, and links, etc. in your posts as much as I tend to, that gets really cumbersome really fast. Typing all the interminable codes is a pain in the butt.
I will say that although I find runboard not down as much as it was, it still sometimes moves...incredibly...slowly. And when they back up, I'm sorry, it takes a HELL of a lot longer than any 20 minutes. Whether the new board would be any faster, by the time we all got on board, remains to be seen.
I also am loath to go off and leave some of the rather intense discussions we've had here, especially if they cannot be ripped to the other board.
I guess what I'm really saying is that I see pros and cons to both boards, and have no especial preference between them.
I DO agree with whoever said (was it Vienna?) to let the membership vote. Put up a poll and let us say our say. But even if we decide to stay for now, doesn't mean we won't NEED to move in, say, 6 months.

Well, maybe it was a little hasty of me to just up and do it, but it all set up quickly and I just went with it.
I don't really have any problem with runboard forums. Actually they've always been good for me. That's why this forum is hosted here.
A few of us had been discussing using another host a few weeks ago, and I just up and created it.
I was suprised that lotsg.com was even available, and I had a few bucks sitting in Pay Pal so I bought it for cheap.
I don't know what you all think of that domain. Maybe there's a better one. Maybe it's a dumb idea anyway. I've noticed that there are 150 members and maybe 10 or 12 people posting regularly. Only 8 people, including myself even joined the other board.
Well, I'll keep the other board up and going, but I don't want it to conflict with this one. It'll have to be seen as an extension of this board, rather than "Forum 2" or an offshoot.
Does anybody care about this?

to be a place of what everybody would like to.
I think I´m implying some anarckhy and well, not that
that is not present here, but...Total freedom.
I mean total and absolute freedom. whithin the intents
of the line started here.
