And Leda, knowledge of the Thing board sailing on into infinity cheered me up.
I think I am going through another tranformation/change/grieving process... If I could only see V again on the BIG screen maybe I could reclaim something that feels like it is getting further away day by day.
Its autumn, and new business is ramping up, old interests are reappearing, there is lots to do to prepare for winter around the homestead. here come the holidays, and with them a slew of anniversaries and another birthday. so melancholy is in the air.

This is a great question, Ven. I've wondered many times just how long the board would last. In the beginning, I thought it would be a month or two at the most. Boy am I glad I was so wrong!
I understand what you mean about the grieving process, and the need to see V4V on the big screen again. Maybe it's because there's nothing left to look forward to? I mean, the dvd's out, the Script To Film book is out, there's no new merchandise on the horizon. It seems so... final, doesn't it? Almost like we're supposed to move on, or something. Well, I don't want to! 
The people here on this board are the cream of the crop, as far as I'm concerned. Witty, intelligent, generous, caring, good-natured..... let's see, what else? Ah yes! And good-looking, too! 
Like Krydiam, I will be here to the end. (hey Kry, what are you doing on August 9, 2007? Meet ya here, OK?   )

It's true, this is one club I am honored to belong to, since the membership is so delightful.
I had a good talk with CrowFly tonight, one of our Poets, about how important it is when you are filled with the magic of a fabulous story, it is important not to puncture the 'illusion' - one must keep one's faith alive. My friend Linda said "The heart only opens a few times in our lives." I love this way of saying it. un affaire du coeur is such a gift. Keep it, wear it, dance it, dream it. Paint it, write it.
For me, From Script to Film made me so sad. It feeds my obsession a few pretty crumbs, but reminds me again and again, ..."its only a movie."
Well, to that I say:
V-Dazz, Kry, I'll be here til I am old and grey...(or at least until sometime next year!  )
