Re: Using the LOTSG Smilies Folder
Excellent idea
seeing the new ones against a white background reveals some rather unpretty pixel errors, I will fix them tomorrow.

Re: Using the LOTSG Smilies Folder
Huzzah!
We hope this solution will be relatively painless for everyone.
To answer a question I anticipate - we didn't want to delete any of the existing smilies from the box (or rearrange them), because that would affect every post in which they've been used. Nor did we want to issue a cease-and-desist order on creation of all the new, wonderful emotes. So the Staff decided the best compromise we could imagine was having an offboard cache of emotes, much like Yahoo Messenger has "hidden" emotes.
All right, FSF (and anyone else), now that we have somewhere for them to live, create away!

Re: Using the LOTSG Smilies Folder
Well, I had considerated personalized emoticons with
the IMG tag, but that means we don´t have to use codes, we just insert them like images.
It is however a bit extra work but it´s ok.
Anyway, I´m not a genious in 2D graphic creation or manipulation, but I may try one or two.
Just one thing, we can add IMG tags from any image
host other thanh photobucket, say, imageshack or other´s, right? any reliable host will do the job.

That's right It's just that Photobucket has the advantage of supplying Runboard-ready image tags.

Re: Using the LOTSG Smilies Folder
after some experiences, photobucket is the simplest
and intuitive choice, of course.
other hosts need logings, tags are infested with publicity
and take forever to reload pages.
why do I act like I always know everythingh, jesus!
I need 3 of these to put me thinkingh straigth;
