No one was home to sign for my new sneakers, so I'll have to wait til tomorrow.

On the plus side, I decided to take advantage of my having to go to the DRs simply to renew my perscription and get my knee checked out. I'm in possession of a script for an X-Ray. . .she said if it's soft tissue related it probably won't show up there, but that it's SOP.

Things like that are very annoying.

I'm sorry to hear about your knee emoticon (what does "SOP" mean?)

SOP = Standard Operating Procedure

 emoticon

- Mel & AH slept late.
- Mel & I ran.
- Three of us drove down to San Diego to visit a luggage store re: getting Mel's bag fixed. She opted to buy a new bag, but I'm finally getting the zipper on my rolling backpack (the bag that's done me good service as carry-on on several trans-Atlantic flights) fixed!
- We had dinner at the Shakespeare! emoticon (And Heather, Mel & I are agreed that you will be going there!)
- Back at home, we discussed possible moving/packing strategies.
- I'm panicking.

Almost lunch time - boy is my tummy grumbly!

emoticon Flare emoticon Thanks luv! My knees, especially my left one, have not been great for a very long time. I know that a lot (or perhaps all of it) is because of my weight. My knees generally are feeling better as I'm losing, but my left knee is doing some things (like making a squishy-clicky noise when I go up/down stairs) that make me suspect there's more going on. . .

And you're right Flare, things like that are very annoying. But my dad should be home all day, so I'm very hopeful that I'll find my new sneakers waiting for me when I get home after class tonight!

Sounds like a fabulous plan!

And ditto to what Flare said, re panicking!
