A, B, C, V - NOW with Audio!

(CHIEF INSPECTOR UPDATE: Letters that have been covered so far:
A B D F H I L M O P Q R S T V (by the man himself) W
Jump in! The alliteration's fine!
If you want to reserve a letter to work on, go ahead and post "I hereby reserve __"

Reservations List:
Melinda - Z

NEWEST ADDITION: Click here for linked index of completed alliterations!)

=====

We are all of us becoming experts of verbose verbiage, but what if we were to temporarily displace the V with another letter?
As a test for the grey matter and writing skills of those who are up to the task, I challenge you to re-write the infamous V speech of allitorative allegory with another letter in V's stead...

First of all - it must make sense.
Secondly, it should be as close to the original meaning or at least, in different words, tell the same story in a meaningful or plausible way.
If you cannot find a word starting with your chosen letter, then try to find one that contains your letter.
Extra points if you can keep the syllables or metric the same and avoid very 'modern' sounding words.
Extra extra points if you can do it with the first letter of your name...

Here is my attempt with 'B':

Behold!
Before you, a beggarly Baudelarian balladeer, beshrewed beguilingly as both blameless and bandit by the bewilderments of inescapability.
This bauta, no banal bagatelle of bemusement, is a betoken of public belief, now barren, banished. But this brave bearing of a bygone bewitcher breathes born again, and has bound to bring down these baleful and braggardly blaggards blazoning badness and begetting the bloodily bawdy and brazen betrayal of balance!
The only bestowment is breachment; a blood-feud bequeathed as a beacon, not brashly, for the benefit and bluntness of such shall one day beatify the beleagured and the believing.
Blatantly this bubbling broth of babble bends most burdensome, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me B.

(If I'd chosen a name beginning with 'D' my life would have been soooo much easier... ;)

((Brandishing yon thesaurus I maketh my attempt))

Materialized!
Mark this mild melodramatic mime, cast most contrastingly as martyr and malefactor by the machinations of fate. This mein, no mere manteau of megalomania, is the memento of the masses, now meaningless, missing, as the once meaningful murmur of the maxim now marvels what they once maligned. However this martial manifestation of a by-gone mutiny, stands motivated, and must master these materialistic, malignant multitudes mentoring maleficence and monitoring the maniacally monsterous and merciless mistreatment of the message. The only measure is mordacity, a melee, held as a mooring, not miscarried, for the merit and meticulousness of such shall on the morrow maintain the mindful and the moralistic. Markedly this mash of motto modulates most magniloquently, moving to a main feature and so it is my marvelous merriment to meet you and you may call me M.

(UPDATED: I forgot part of a line.)

Click here to hear MelindaKitty speak the S-speech

S’il vous plait!

In sight, a simple Shakespearean showman, cast simultaneously as both suff’rer and and smiter by the schisms of fate. This semblance, no mere surface of seeming, is a symbol of the secular, now sedated, subsumed, as the once sound speech of the symposium now swallows what they once sanctioned. However, this selfless simulation of a bygone sedition stands self-posessed, and has sworn to shatter these shameless and sanctimonious scoundrels safehousing sin and securing the sadistic’ly savage and scurrilous sabbotage of self-assurance. The only sentence is scourging; a shakedown held sacrosanct, a sanctuary, for the security and salience of such shall one day shelter and shield the scrupulous and the seemly. ‘Sounds, this sine qua non of semantics sidles most self-absorbed shortchanging a salutation, so let me simply say that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me S.

OH MY GOD IS THIS FUN!!!!!

emoticon Well done!! Bloody hell, that was a giggle.
If you put 'synchronicity' instead of fate you'd have even another S - though as it is, I don't know how you managed it AND it sounded deliciously Shakespearian. Fabulous!

I'm not sure every single one of the words in mine is to my liking but many M words simply didn't fit outright or sounded too far off.

As for you Melinda..Good going girl I can't say it aloud without stumbling five times so you've done good hehe

kihihi!!!!

I liked it. It's "sibilant." ;)

OOOH!!!! OOOH!!!! OOOH!!!!

If no one else wants to play, can I do another?

I'll even let you pick the letter. S was really fun, but kinda easy.

(But loser that I am, I was freaking out trying to find the "s" equivalent of "vaudevillian". I searched the whole thesaurus, and then "Shakespearean" came to me, and I felt like a complete 'tard.)

*does happy dance for smart game*

*hauls out Roget's Thesaurus and starts to get to work*
