I think some people have no conscience...
...or I need to pray for their souls!
An 18-year old ROTC cadet was standing outside the Greyhound bus station in Dallas, TX when he collapsed in a flailing seizure. Another guy ran up, and instead of trying to find the man help, instead took his wallet from the seizing man's pocket.
Fortunately...
It seems the man who had the seizure has recovered, based on what I've read, and...
...surveillance cameras caught the man who did it; he showed up later again at the bus station and was arrested.
There *is* some justice in this world, says Madame Justice. But I still find it very disturbing that someone is so desperate for money (likely for buying drugs) that he'd rob a man who is having a seizure!

Re: I think some people have no conscience...
Mark wrote an article recently on bystander apathy, which is bad enough, but yeah, robbing the guy is much worse!
Twat.
Fortunately, "it seems that knowing about the phenomenon of bystander apathy may protect you from actually becoming that apathetic bystander." So be aware, go against the grain, and don't follow the other sheep.
