If I had to have another V, and could roll back ages, Peter O'Toole, not a doubt. Sexy, funny, graceful; a touch of ambiguity; able to conjure up the majestic quality. Could wear the costume [same slender waist!] with authority; could manage Rookwood and the guards; could probably make Natalie Portman laugh.
and, looking back to the early posts, we did sort of get Anthony Hopkins: HW was apparently doing his voice for Rookwood.
Work with play the happy differentiation!

Peter O'Toole would have made a great V! I just saw him in a really old film called 'The Stunt Man' - he really steals the show.
