Hi! I'm a n00b to this forum, but I'm so happy I found it! Finally I'm not alone in my obsession. 
As an introductory gift I thought you all might enjoy hearing the original version of "I Found a Reason" that Cat Power cover so hauntingly in our favorite movie.
It's quite a bit different than the sad song you're used to by now, which I guess makes it even more serendipitous that such an intriguing new interpretation came into existence for VfV. There's just no way the scene would have been as evocative without it.
So without further ado, here's an mp3 I found of the Velvet Underground's "I Found a Reason" -- a preview reproduced in very low fidelity so as not to encroach on the artist's rights.
