Re: Hugo weaving behind the mask
It looks like you are trying to attach it from a file on your hard drive. (if you go to the little red X in your siggie, right click then choose properties, you will see where the address of where the image is from) What you need is an online hosting site. Best one is photobucket.com. Just go to the site, create an account, then upload your image. Then just attach it :)
Hope that helps.

Re: Hugo weaving behind the mask
Yep, I read in a Hugo interview yesterday that the little boot-brush at the beginning which everyone seems to like wasn't him, but James.

You know what...? I'd been thinking for quite some time now that V seemed slightly different during that first "tooling up" scene, not least in terms of build and stance. The odd thing is that, although Hugo and James Purefoy are, in fact, exactly the same height, Hugo seems to have significantly longer legs.
Wrrrrowr.

If he's got a tongue a long as a frog's, too, I'm not complaining.

Re: Hugo weaving behind the mask
Actually, I had thought before that the straight-on picture of V's costume wasn't as flattering as it could be, because Huge darling doesn't have such long legs; and with the baggy trews and the long doublet they seem even shorter while his torso looks impossibly long. And the mask makes his head look bigger than it is.
But even if his head was the size of a prize-winning pumpkin and his legs were barely long enough to contain ankles, I still would.

Re: Hugo weaving behind the mask
I noticed that too. In the begining ( I hate to say this) V looked as charming as the 8 year old who got shot wearing the mask.. It truly just didn't fit his body shape.

I hadn't gotten as far as measuring their legs in analyzing the first scene, but I agree he seems different. The most notable for me is when he drapes the cloak around himself and is checking it out in the mirror, adjusting things. There's just something off in that moment - his neck looks too short or something, like he's hunching his shoulders or...
Whatever it is, in that moment, V doesn't do much for me.
As for how long James was around before they called in Hugo, I heard 4 weeks. I wonder if they'll do something with that on the DVD - like a game: Can You Spot the Difference? or a Behind the Scenes or something. Honestly, I'm not sure I really want to know, though... Though it is a relief to think that James is ONLY in the very beginning...
Overall, since V is "all of us," does it really matter when he's the stunt guy and when he's Hugo/James? LOL! Oh, as for Hugo doing the choreography for the Victoria fight - I would think that David (the stuntman AND the convenience store robber V) probably had to study how Hugo would have moved in similar circumstances - if the physicality were too far off, it'd be too obvious that there'd been a switch.

::nod nod:: I agree, on both counts.

I'm almost afraid to ask - was that a typo, or intentional, Boh?

Even my accidents are purposeful, but that was no accident.
He's a tall, thin man with a big nose and receding hairline - science says he has a wing-wang he could beat Godzilla to death with. Or at least make him really jealous.
