 That, VV, is something the conservative Christians never seem to comprehend - the bigger the noise you make, the more some people want to go see what the big deal is.
It can actually be a really GOOD thing for a movie/book/TV show to attract their vitriol.  Thus, this IS one case where they should just ignore it, and it'll go away.
And do see the movie - it's great!  (MelindaKitty and I saw it in 3D not long after it opened.)
