I only have 5 words to say.

HOWARD SHORE IS A GENIUS

He composed the music of Lord of the Rings. This I think is the greatest score ever written. It fits perfectly with the greatest movie ever written. Howard Shore said himself:

Yes, I have the Return of the Kind sountrack (which is most likely the best CD I've owned in my entire life) and most of the Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack. I absolutely love that stuff...

Howard Shore Wins Golden Globes for RoTK Score & Song

Yay! Howard Shore won a Golden Globe for his musical score for RoTK! He also won for best song with "Into The West."

News update: Howard Shore is also up for two Oscars for the same categories - Original Score and Original Song. Way to go Howard! Be sure to watch on February 29th!
