Time Management
Is anyone else upset that people are complaining about the length of rotk? It personally gets me mad. Either you want to see it or not. If you want to see it theres no problem and you shouldn't care about the time. If your there just to be there than why are you there?(oooo confused myself for a minute) I mean its lotr! Who cares about the time! I personally wish it was longer! That means more lotr for me! YAY!

Re: Time Management
Yes. It was worth every minute, and, in fact, they left out quite a bit from the book. I don't mind though, it still rocked... I heard there's an hour's worth of new scenes on the RotK Extended Cut... whenever that comes out...

Re: Time Management
People have to have something to complain about I guess. Those who complain about the length of the movie are not true Tolkien fans or they would actually complain that the movie should've been longer so PJ could've included more scenes from the book. That's why I always get the extended version of every movie the day they come out! Wish they were even more extended!!
I think a lot of people are seeing "The Return of The King" simply because everyone is talking about it so much, including Hollywood, TV, radio, magazines, etc. It's being so praised they feel they just have to see it. However, many of these people have never seen either of the other two movies, mostly because they are not Tolkien or Jackson fans per se, and have never read any of Tolkien's books. They just want to see what all of the hubbabaloo is all about. They probably also don't want to be left out since it seems as though everyone is seeing the movie.
Oh well. It's a shame they really don't understand what they are seeing and just how incredible it truly is! Jackson has made movie history by making the LoTR trilogy the way he did. It seems that he has set a new standard for all of Hollywood to follow!
