Silent Dreams
I wrote this about homeless children a few years ago. Wish we could give every child a home, love and dreams.

Silent Dreams
And they weep
The children weep for loss of love
And they cry into the hills
On silent nights
And they cry into the heavens
Their cries take flight
________
And in the thunder
I can hear their cries
Coming out of heaven on those
Silent nights
While their cries take flight
________________
The children mourn the loss of love they knew
And they'll never know again
"Oh" , the children mourn
And go into themselves to find a friend
And share a dream

Yes, in the thunder I can hear their cries
Coming out of heaven on those
Silent nights
As their cries take flight

And they dispair
Yes the children all dispair
Of ever seeing love come to their lives
And so they dream
And reconcile themselves to life that knows
No dream
Or knows no love

And in the thunder I can hear their cries
Coming out of heaven
On those silent nights
While their cries take flight

"Ohhh" I can hear their crying
Coming from the heavens
in their homeless nights
And I can feel compassion
While the children live in doubt
I really want to love them
Can you say that you do too

Then we wont hear their crying
Coming from the thunder
Coming out of heaven in those
Silent nights
Then their dreams take flight

If we can love the children
We can give them back their lives
And with our love we give to them
A chance to dream again
And if we love the children on their
Homeless nights
Then we can see their dreams take flight
