My Child is dying in Foster Care
Dear God what is wrong with CPS workers? Ok I pissed someone off by standing up for my childs rights a few years ago. (handicapped medically fragile) and since then: upwards of 20+ anon. complaints to CPS. All unfounded. And a slew of trouble with every service we obtain from the county. harrassment you name it. All documented.
A month ago 4 visits in 3 weeks found nothing wrong. Then a warrant served for taking my baby. Why?
We transport her in a 2006 Chev. 4 door truck. The backseat makes into 3x5 bed to which we have turned into a padded comfy play area. She cannot sit in her carseat that took 2 years to get its too small and she already has tremendous pain from the 2 metal rods that go from the base of her neck to her lowerback. We have tried to get help to get transportation (all documented).
The warrant states that she was found in the "bed" of our truck face down unrestrained. It was never clarrified that it was back seat in the "Princess Throne" as our family calls it complete with dvd player cd player etc.
Wow did they ever have to reach for that? So they got a warrant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG
That was on a Thursday at 4pm.
We had a detention hearing the next Tuesday.
We were not allowed to speak.
We were asigned a public defender who failed to inform the court he was leaving immediately for vacation and not returning until the night before our next court date nor did he tell us. Only through numerous calls his secretary called back a week later to inform us it didnt matter "nothing would be done anyway at next hearing.
Right because they failed to prepare our denial even though we have written evidence conradicting the social workers statements. I will go so far to say I can prove that she lied 100%.
The foster family refused to feed her by mouth (shes eaten safely for 10 years). She begs us on the 2 times we saw her for food. We complained to everyone but its a holiday week.
I am dying inside every time it crosses my mind. She is devastated and depressed and hungry.
She was removed not because of abuse or neglect but for the possiblity of it.
Dear god are you even real??? My baby will die before anyone notices. I cant write anymore no one answers or cares. They are busy.
If anyone has it in their hearts to help her please please.
She is truly an angel and how can anyone do this?
Mommy & Daddy that have never and never will abandon her to the wolves (CPS).

I am now 70 years old and living the life of a pauper, so (sadly for others) I am no longer able to provide direct help in cases like yours.
However, there are other readers of this board who might be able to help or steer you, if you state the area in which you live.

Thank you for replying. I know its a longshot as I am trying every place I can. I have not received so much as a reply from anyone not my legislators, local advocates, internet noone.
But it is greatly appreciated that you took the time to reply. Thank you.
Nothing has changed since I first posted except she is sicker than before.
We were threatened by her worker if we called her doctors they would move her to another facility. How dumb is that?
We have had no rights taken away, we are under no court order, the detention hearing was post poned twice and its been since Nov. 8,2007.
My lord she must be devastated and horrified at being without us.
In Gods name how can they do this to her?
There has never been abuse or neglect theres was none when they took her, It was just in case??
God help them. When this is done and shes back home they will know the new meaning of a mother's wrath.
