Re: SCREEN-SHOT of Board Statistics
Joseph,
Judging by the particular threads that are getting the most attention according to the view-counts, the "outside interest" in this forum is specific rather than random.
I'll keep helping as much as I can with the new posts, but you should also keep adding saved items from your first board that cover the specific interests, especially your original writings, since it appears that you have a larger audience here than in your first board (thanks to Namvet2).
Unless they're happening in boards that I never monitor, there aren't any open discussions about you or this board, so I'm guessing that the discussions are going on in the e-mail rings and by PM's.
So what if this is more like a blog? The important thing is that it's being read, according to your own words.

All valid points, Aaron.
Now all I need is more time away from appliance-related and weather-related problems offline! LOL

Re: SCREEN-SHOT of Board Statistics
This should be the last screen-shot of the board stats that I'll be posting (for the benefit of our doubters).
I shot this at around 8:40 PM Pacific Standard Time on March 21, 2006.
As you can see, the Runboards default Date/Time had already rolled-over to March 22, 2006, so the few Views for "tomorrow" are averaged-into and added to the "Last 7-Days" stats.
I'm still happy, and I again thank everyone for reading here.

Re: SCREEN-SHOT of Board Statistics
Well, except for the 17th and 19th (and the incomplete 22nd), all of the daily views are over 1,000, so I'd estimate that the "Last 7 Days Average" is qute a bit higher than the shown 904.1.
I see that it's a problem trying to catch a complete 7 days without low and incomplete stats for the next day being averaged-in.
It would be nice to see and compare screenshots of "posting-busy" boards, to get some idea of how many people are actually reading them, especially since most people in such boards don't seem to be reading even each others' posts!

You got it Aaron.
To avoid further jeopardizing people who have their real necks stuck out in blogs, forums and newspaper feedbacks, orgs like mine don't republish their original stuff over their true names, but we spread and discuss them privately instead.
You can get a fairly close idea of how many posts are being read or copied by people in our particular ring, if you'd kept track of the climbing views of "Joseph Sarandos, USAFsarge and I are NOT ALONE as vets against the M-E Wars". That was the original URL portal that we used for entering this board and spreading out from there. But, other URL addresses have since become mentioned among our members, and I'm not at all suggesting that we are wholly or mostly responsible for all of the new hits. Finally, it is only the original writings that we copy from here, since we also monitor all of the mainstream news sources 24/7.
With this larger audience of new people, Joseph should indeed re-publish more of his original writings from his first board, along with anything new that he writes. The same goes for you and other members of his first board.
Best regards,
Greg

Re: SCREEN-SHOT of Board Statistics
The Views topped-out at 1423 for yesterday, but are up to only 543 as of Noon today PST.
I've added one original essay (and a link to it), as I revised it before Noon, and I'll try to get a few more posted from my archives throughout the rest of today, hopefully before the date rolls-over, but my daughter and grandsons will be here around 3 PM, so my computer will be tied-up watching Loony Tunes and letting Timmy "type".
I'm back at it while I have about 3 hours to myself.
Any more posting help would be appreciated (thanks, Sarge).

Joseph,
I've been in the process of writing an original essay.
