Personality: Eddard is a sensitive young man, who has a dry sense of humour. While fairly quiet and good-natured most of the time, Eddard is subject to a flaring temper he finds hard to control at times. He can be quite stubborn, but despite all that, wishes to harm nobody and is drawn to those that need help.
Skills:: He is a tower-trained matrix - mechanic and skilled monitor. His command of the Hastur gift (not to full extent, of course, but still fairly high at aplayable level) and his secondary gift of empathy make him a good trainer of tower novices. As such his activity is not as high as he could wish, as there is a lack of novices these days. But maybe there will come one along ... . Apart from that he is clever with his hands and has some sword-fighting skills, even though he is not very good at it.
Weakness: His stubbornness and temper
Friends/ Enemies: His closest friend is Priscilla Alton, a matrix technician and healer at Comyn tower.
History: He is the third youngest son of four children. His father is Aran Hastur (38), brother to the Lord of the Domain, and his mother is Fiora Ridenow (35), a yonger daughter of a nephew to the domain-lord. His childhood years were happily spent between Lake Hali andSweetwater and (where he was fostered)At the age of 14 Eddard joined the cadets in Thendara, but toward the end of his second year he got treshold-sickness. Only the closeness to Comyn - Tower and the proximity to trained monitors and healers saved his life. Ther the potential of the young man was recognized and after overcoming treshol-sickness and basic training Eddard reluctantly finished his cadet--term (where he usually was at the receiving end of well-meant mockery and jokes). Anyway, at 17 he finally joined Comyn tower, where he proved a quick learner and it didn't take him long to reach the rank of monitor. After this he decided to spend his life, as long as his family permitted, as a tower worker and continued training. Now he is a skilled matrix - mechanic and usually young novices, once they turn up, are placed in his care.
What is being planned for him: As far as I can gather Valente is coming down with treshold -sickness, so I figured you might want someone who helps him there ... Teach me otherwise if I am wrong  . I ' ll find something

Looks good to me. Is he working in Comyn Tower?
Also, if you could just generate a paragraph or two of description for his parents and put them up as NPCs - so other Comyn who might have met them will have something to go by. It dosen't need to be as descriptive as Barnabas' stuff, just a quick description and personality outline.
