Auster Alton and Dorilin Alton-Ardais (NPCs)

Dorilin Alton-Ardais a younger daughter of Lord Alton. Recently married to Keith Ardais- Aillard, she was originally hand-fasted to Corran Leynier but his disappearance and presumed death ended that obligation. Young, stubborn - as most Altons are - with a deceptively sweet face, Dorilin can be willful. She has moderate telepathy but her older cousin Priscilla seems to have gotten the lion's share of the family laran.

Auster Alton is the second son of Lord Alton and a very handsome, charming young man who knows he looks good and takes advantage of that fact. Good natured and vain, he's in Thendara partly to be admitted to the Comyn council and partly for the sake of his bredu, who's laran is troubling and who's still recovering from serious injury. He hopes they can both serve time on the Comyn Guard and perhaps meet the Terranans he's heard so much rumors about. His Alton gift is moderate, at best, which makes him a strong telepath - except among his own family.
