Rayna n'ha Sherna
Name: Rayna n' ha Sherna
Age: 22
Looks: dark-blond hair, cropped short as any Renunciate's, about 1,68m high, strongly - built
Laran: none
Personality: roughly- spoken but softly hearted; self-concious, proud of her own achievements, likes a good laugh now and then, but generally has a more serious nature, drawn to the own gender
Abilities: apt fighter as taught by the Renunciates; works either as baker or bodyguard for Comyn, depending on whether it is required or not. She has grown up on the streets of Thendara and knows her way around there, and contact to many dubious folk ..
Weaknesses: her pride in her own achievements make her appear arrogant in the eyes of many of her sisters at the guildhouse; she is not really well -liked because of this and her sometimes rude way of expressing herself.
Friends/ Enemies: Rayna has no special friends in the guildhouse. She is regarded with quite a bit of mistrust and not really well liked. However, she is trusted by the guildmother, and that woman is one of the few, who see the warmth and loneliness in Rayna's heart.
History: Rayna is the result of a quick adventure of her mother, Sherna Mac Neil, a waitress at a Thendara Inn, and one of the guests there. As both were rather drunk at the time, Sherna never bothered to ask the name of this man. So Rayna does not know who her father is. However, her mother raised her as good as she could from the little money she earned, but could not prevent that the girl soon made contact with rough strieet-children and pick-pockets, from whom she learned some of their craft and also how to fight. However, as she grew to be a teenager, she drew the attention of some pimps towards her who wanted her to be a prostitute. As Rayna, however, had no real interest in men, and was afraid of being pressed into their service nonetheless, she turned to honest ways and helped her mother in the Inn. But after the landlord nearly molested the now 16 year -old, Sherna urged her daughter to leave the Inn and join the Renunciates' guild, which she did. There she has been living ever - since, where she either works as body -guard or baker. More often than not she is chosen to sell the bread on the market as she is used to rude remarks and her knowledge of street-ways and ruses.
What is being planned for her: She is someone who is suited to help Valerie, once the twins arrive in Thendara. But in General, she is a good first contact for them and might be of use to them.
