RIP Rick Hardy
From Beatlesdays.com:
We had a call from original REMO FOUR drummer HARRY PRYTHERCH tonight, with the sad news that RICK HARDY had been killed in a car crash on Monday
His name may not be that familiar with BEATLES fans, but RICK was part of the Hamburg scene back in the early sixties as guitarist in TONY SHERIDAN's band THE JETS and performed with, amongst others, THE BEATLES.

Skiffle legend Hardy dies in crash
Singer/guitarist Rick Hardy, one of the pioneers of the British skiffle scene of the fifties, has died in a car crash, aged 73.
Hardy, aka Rick Richards, regularly performed at Soho’s famous 2 I’s Coffee Bar before joining The Jets who, in 1960, were the first English rock ‘n’ roll band to play in Hamburg.
