Thought I'd post some tips I've gotten while playing in pugs and such, a guy last night gave me this tip and it worked well. Hopefully this gets stickied. :P

1.

This next week's map is going to be Overgrown, it's terribly hard to see people on it, sometimes even movement at long range. To fix this, turn up your video card's "Digital Vibrance" setting to 100. It also makes the game look a lot better with no frame loss whatsoever(I didn't notice any.) It doesn't give any unfair advantages, just adds more vibrant colors to the textures, to help distinguish them from each other.

Sniping

Sensitivity, sensitivity, sensitivity. Turn it up to 7 and use a 2000dpi mouse AT LEAST. Practice just dragging the mouse across the screen when scoped and just click when you see someone. It's all about trusting your instincts. Once I turned up my sensitivity I began making more shots, sometimes I still miss the easy ones, but as force can attest, I've also made some pretty crazy ones. You should also install the CPL registry mouse fix. It disables all Windows XP mouse acceleration, which is somewhat still active even when the setting in the control panel is turned off. It makes it more sluggish at first, but when you crank your sensitivity and dpi up, you'll notice MUCH more accurate shooting. You can get the fix here.
