Stone Cold Love
Heart incased in Ice and stone,
Beeting inside Flesh and Bone,
the frozen Blood rushing though my sore veins,
Wishing for death to end this pain,
I give everythign i have to you and only you,
Yet i never win, I keep it locked up inside,
Cuz every1 i ever love seems,
to hurt me,
Seems to lie,
Seems to love another,
and some Seem to die,
With unshead tear,
Watering my soul eyes,
i Force my self to not cry,
I make myself stand proud and strong,
How can some1 hurt this Long,
Y can't your heart go numb,
you can only delay it with Beer and Rum,
Or stupid Drugs to make you Dumb,
But nothing can help me rise above,
The powerful Pain of my Stone Cold Love

Wow, really, really good travis...really good...strong...but i have a question...other than someone "leaving" you when they really didnt, you just assumed it...does this:

does it apply to everyone you've ever loved?...just wondering....
is it really everyone....because you love a lot of people...you have a big heart...but great poem...made me cry...(sorry for typos.....ive been crying all night, slippery keyboard...)

The opening lines grab you right by the throat:

Very well written, Travis. You write best when you are in this mood. *smiles* But don't make a point of getting yourself in this mood just so you can write such strong poetry. I am sure that you will find the love you are looking for: one who will not hurt you, lie to you, love anyone but you and who will not die too soon.
