Time

This one is rubbish i wrote it in five minutes.

Time.

Take your time, tell those you love,

be sure to keep your heart open and not shut,

for time is precious it runs too fast,

like grains of sand within your hand,

the more you try to capture it, the faster it falls,

holding it gently will make time forever yours,

but don't be foolish the clock still ticks,

and to forget this, there will be things we miss,

like saying I love you freely each day,

or telling them you need them in every way,

appreciate life's small gifts, but still have dreams,

keep an open mind, not everything is how it seems,

and when life hands you the sour hand,

make sure you fall in love as often as you can,

for love will soothe your hearts deep pain,

and when in love you finally feel again.

So take the time to smile each day, to love and live,

for when the clock stops you can no longer do this.

And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am

Re: Time

You said a very important message in those 5 minutes. And it's funny. Time is something that we ALL know passes. We ALL know that we have a finite amount of time alive. Yet we waste time, we kill time... And we always think there will be time--later. But later seems to always come too late and we are left with deeds undone and words unspoken. And we realize at the last minute that we were in such a hurry to live our lives that we ran right by so many things that we should have stopped to appreciate along the way.
