To take, to try
Take a piece of me, leave it scarred,
try to make my heart, cold and hard,
take my breath sharply, by causing pain,
try to make sure, that I'm never the same,
take what you want, give nothing back,
try to take my soul, make it empty and black,
take all the pleasure, in the things that you do,
try to punish me, for not wanting to be like you,
take what you can, have what you choose,
try all you want, to break me, make me lose,
take all my strength, leave me helpless on the floor,
try to push me, so I can no longer take anymore,
take all of me as though I belong to you. but I don't,
try to break me and make me yours. but I won't
