Shadow world
Shapes moving silently in the dark,
stone cold beating of blackened hearts,
a mist of confusion, pain and rage,
voices crying out, needing to be saved,
hollow eyes and bleeding empty souls,
stories once hidden in their eyes, all now told,
tears no longer running all gone, now too dry
voices are lost as they shout out an angry cry,
it is the darkest place with barely any light,
many of them trying to escape the endless night,
but the grip is strong it keeps its firm steady hold,
most give in and get lost, their blood running cold,
the reaper does not only collect the souls of the dead,
and the darkness will cover the flowing bright red,
this place is the shadow world for lost souls my friend,
where there is no light and the night never ends.
