The lines that you once spoke
To calm my frazzled
Nerves and thoughts that sped in
Too many directions for me
To handle alone without
Someone there to care
About what I could do
What I would do if given
The opportunity to let go
Into my calm once more with
A sky glazed in the liquid
Red as the sun shone down
Upon my mind and body seeping
Into the imperfections to maybe
Give me a better shine than what
I was originally given to have
For the world to see and
Grow into what I might have

In the rotations that history and
Life has issued to happen except
When you fell down and had to

Back up into your normal while

You to stumble upon hoping
Your friends would catch you and

Left me to fall so long ago when
They held my life and they
Held my world intact with what I
Knew to be all that really mattered in
