God?
Okay. . . The Ryo always brings this up because it seems to come up everyday. (watching dogma never helps) But, do any of you think there is really a God? I mean, when you take what the bible tells us and put it against scientific studies, which can you believe? What scientists find are actual proof of what used to be here. But what the bible says, that's what man says happened.
Personally, I think there may be a God up there. But I just do not care for His ways. According to the bible, so many things that I think of as everyday, ordinary things, are against His law. So everytime I do these things, I sin and become more of a pagan. Frankly, if what I think of as life is a sin, I will do it reguardless of my future consciousness.
But, what do you all think?

Re: God?
I do believe there is a God, yes. But sometimes I like to think otherwise. I go into these modes where I think too deeply into one big topic, like life, God, stuff like that. It's weird really.. I, technically, don't really have a religion at all, even though my grandparents on my father's side are preassuring my brother, mother, father, and me to go back to another religion we kind of faded from. It gets SO annoying, and it's very hard. This is one of the reasons I chose not to have a particular religion. So I guess I'm more pagan than anything, also. But like I said, I do believe. Now this post has probobly made not much sence whatsoever, but I put my word in.

Re: God?
Yeah have to say i'm in between i really find it hard to belive in god for many reasons, yet i refuse to be closed minded and say there is no god at all. But yes ryo have to agree IF god is real and is the way the bible says he is i have no interest in his laws as they make very little sense to me. i have my own views on life and many of those conflict with the bible yet i believe i am not a bad person

Re: God?
I really don't know what to believe about God, or any of that. If God is so great, and merciful . .why are so many good people dying? Why are there gangs, rapists, murderders, etc.? Why are innocent people harmed . .why is there a war going on? And the horrible ones stay alive . . Yeah, tough luck I know . . and no offense to anyone who strongly believes in God . .but if someone from your family, or a friend of yours is harmed, or set with hard times . . .or even you, yourself . .Where is God then? He must be taking a big long nap these days . .

Re: God?
I know. Those things to that He calls, "trials". Trials to prove our faith to Him. Give me a frickin break. If I was going to show my faith, all He had to do was listen to me pray every frickin night and stuff. I really don't care anymore. People can call me a pagan or anything they would like to say. I will not go back. <--stubborn like that--

Re: God?
I personally believe in God even though I haven't been to any church or anything. There's always a possibility of divine power. People believe in him for centuries upon centuries for a reason. I can't count how many times he saved my hide. So, I think he's very real, at least in his believer's heart!

Re: God?
I'm Wiccan, also. For me, that means that YES, there is a God, but not in the conventional sense. For me, there is God and Goddess...which are both part of a whole. I believe that no matter what religion, people still believe in the same God...just with different names/beliefs surrounding that God. So, in theory, I worship the same God that Christians do... I simply treat it a different way and have different beliefs about what that God (And Goddess!) deems to be okay.
Just had to say that.
