the need to run
the urge is there
deep inside my soul
run from this
and all that I know
run from me
run from you
to a place alone
inside of me
take back this life
and all it's tears
make me new
and whole again
the spaces within
so dark and grey
fill me up
make tears flow
I need to run
escape this life
find starshine
and bathe in its glow
take this darkness
let me shine
help me leave it all behind
point me there
don't hold me back
guide my feet
and take care of my heart
