Re: Standing on a hill
I turned around to face Lewis and raised my eyebrow slightly. He returned the arch brow; the corner of his mouth flicked up to make a rather attractive smirk.. I let out a sound which was sort of was a laughing sigh. His other eyebrow shot up and I smiled slightly.
You know Mr. Lewis, you were being such a gentlemen. What happened?
I laughed again as we slowed. I didnt wait for Lewis to stop. I hopped off the horse and looked at or surroundings. The sun had set and night had fallen. Yellow specks were splattered against a dark blue canvas. Maybe I would enjoy the settings more if I werent travelling around with the people who were going to destroy a village full of innocent beings. Or if I hadnt found out that the person I would have giving anything up for, the person that had loved more then anything, the person that had broken my heart and died the next daywas actually still alive. I couldnt even look at him. It hurt too much.
And Lewis. God why was he doing this? He was playing games. I could tell. I was thinking of so many things that I didnt notice what was going on. I was jerked back into reality when on of the elves came over to me.
Ello? Capns been talkin ter you. Damian sighed.
Dont call me Captain again. Ive told you more then once. Well I glad your listening now.. His mouth twisted into something that was supposed to be a smile.. It didnt turn out that way.

Re: Standing on a hill
As I jumped off my own horse, holding it firmly by the reins, I past her.
I am always a gentlemen. I hissed these words into her ear and carried on towards the group. Damian looked up and saw Lilly watching the sky. He smirked slightly.
So my dear, I want you to know how powerful we really are. Your going to watch us destroy this village. Its amazing really, how much of an animal both Rogan and Lewis turn into when hungry. He shot a glance at Rogan, then at me. She didnt seem to hear him, she was muttering softly to herself about something. Damian rolled his eyes and snapped. Brim walked up to Lilly. He was like a trained dog. Doing whatever Damian ordered. Disgusting.
Ello? Capns been talkin ter you. Damian sighed
Dont call me Captain again. Ive told you more then once. Well I glad your listening now.. He walked over to her.
What? Oh Im sorry.. I was thinking about something else. She answered with a smile, which I could tell wasnt real, it didnt reach her eyes.
As soon as he reached her he started to whisper in her ear frantically. The elves were laughing about something stupid, but both Rogan and I listened intently. I knew Rogan would pick up more then I did, but I caught a few things, like; He doesnt want youused you. Why do you think and that was it. I could piece together what it he was saying better then I expected.
***
I let the limp body fall to the ground, another neck broken another dead body. I looked around the chaos. Thats when I saw her. She had come down to the battlefield. What the hell is she doing? She could be killed! I rushed over to her.
Lilly what in gods name are you doing down here! She had a bunch of bottles and things in her hands.
I had to get a few things. I nodded and went to turn around when a man rushed between us, he had a dagger. With a look of triumph on his face, he hurled it downwards. I sighed and grabbed his arm.
Very foolish of you. I said slyly. There was a cracking sound as I broke his arm and a short scream. Short only because I had thrown him up in the air and one of the elves shot an arrow at the man. It went through his chest, and he to fell to the floor.
I turned back to Lilly. She was bleeding. One of the bottles had shattered.
Everything went silent in my head. Her blood intoxicated my senses. She was talking but I couldnt hear her. In a swift movement I had grabbed her arms, causing all the bottles to go crashing down from her arms. I moved my head towards her neck.
I let my tongue caress it for a few seconds, but I couldnt wait any longer. I could feel the warm blood beneath the skin. As I sank my Teeth into her neck I heard her screaming... but I didnt care. Her blood was sweet and as it flowed down the back of my neck I thought I was in paradise. Suddenly the blood flow stopped. I couldnt have drained her already? I suddenly heard words coming from her mouth. Nothing she said I could understand. Then it hit me. I wasnt that stupid. I laughed.
You fooled us all Lilly. I never thought youd be one. She stopped talking and looked at me. What had I done? She was slowly slipping in and out of consciousness. She had stopped me just in time, even though her life was still in danger.
I was on my knees, holding her in my arms. Her head fell back over one of my arms. But all I could say were a few words, and I doubt she heard me.
You should have told us Lilly.

Re: Standing on a hill
The blood tasted unusually sweet as he tore at the throat of the woman. Rogan snarled as he swallowed, warm chunks of tender meat sliding down his throat. He looked up, his eyes as yellow as the waxing moon above. He put his nose into the wind and sniffed. The scent was strong and enticing. He paused for a moment to tear one more piece of soft flesh from the womans neck, then padded off in the direction of that intoxicating aroma, blood dripping from his muzzle. His ears pricked up, twitching back and forth, trying to pick up the direction of the cries that accompanied the scent. Around him, chaos reigned. Blood spurted from severed limbs, oozed from gaping wounds. Cries of terror echoed from every corner of the village. Yet Rogan ignored them as he moved silently through the carnage. The cries were stronger, as was the scent. He paused at the door to a small thatched cottage. It was very much like the one he had grown up in, but he didnt notice thatnot now, not with his quarry just on the other side of the door. He growled fiercely, causing the few villagers left alive to turn their heads toward that terrible sound. From across the village green, Damian paused in his dismemberment of a young man and smiled slowly.
He lunged at the wooden door, landing on top of it as it fell inside the cottage. It took him only a moment to find his quarry. In the corner of the one room, huddled beside a feather bed was a young girl. She couldnt have been more than 9 or 10. He could smell the tears as they fell down her pretty cheeks. But as delectable as she undoubtedly was, she was not what he had come for. He approached her, his teeth bared, saliva tinged with blood dripping onto the floor. He snarled and was rewarded by the sound of her screams. But the scream stopped abruptly as he slashed at her with one paw, his claws tearing her throat. She stared at him in shock, a soft gurgling sound trickled from her open throat. But he barely glanced at her. He turned his yellow gaze toward the bundle that lay beside her. Its piteous cries inflamed his senses. He pawed at the blanket, exposing the infant. He stared at the small arms and legs, their movements frantic as the babys cries intensified. Even an infant this young instinctively recognized death when it stared him in the face. It required no effort at all to silence those cries. One snap of his teeth and the infant was limp in his jaws. He snarled as he tore into the warm sweet flesh. It was a pity there were only a few mouthfuls. It was quite his favorite meal.
**
He padded across the village green, his belly filled, his urge to kill sated. But Damian would expect more from him. He ran his tongue slowly along his muzzle. And Damian would always get what he wanted. He turned his gaze toward some movement to his right and lunged, his teeth ripping at the throat of the old man. The old woman beat at him with a gnarled stick , but only for a moment before his claws exposed her entrails. He left them immediately. Let the flies devour their flesh. As he continued his progress, casually, thoughtlessly offering more villagers to the flies, he thought of the words he had heard Damian whisper in Lillys ear. He doesnt want you, you know. He only used you. Surely you must have figured that out by now? You were merely a small diversion to him, a bit of flesh to satisfy his lust. But you are not to his taste, really, never were. Why do you think He had stopped listening at that point. He had heard enough. Lewis had heard some of the words alsohe could tell that by the expression that had been on the vampires face. But by that same expression, he doubted he had heard quite enough to know exactly what Damian had meant. But Rogan had heard more than enough. He felt a sudden wave of nausea filling him and he stopped and heaved up the contents of his stomach. He looked at the steaming mass on the ground. A pity now he would have to eat again.
His ears pricked suddenly as he heard her voice. What was SHE doing down here? He heard Lewiss voice alsospeaking to HER! He followed the sound of their voices and his eyes spotted the body flying up into the air. Must Lewis ALWAYS play with his food? Then a shift in the wind brought the scent to his flaring nostrils. It was blood. Nothing unusual in that, there was blood everywhereit flowed around him like a hundred rivers. But this blood was differentit was HER blood! He knew the scent. It was unmistakable. He set off at full speed across the field, at first on all fours, thenas he drew closer to themhe resumed his human form. He arrived just in time to see Lewis holding her, her body limp in his arms, and to hear his words, You should have told us, Lilly.

Re: Standing on a hill
~*~I never thought I would see someone as beautiful as your self in here. He laughed shortly as though he had expected her to laugh as well. Her face wasnt visible; her knuckles were white against her glass from gripping it so tightly. She looked at him finally, her eyes were red from crying, her face wet from the tears and her lips redder then any rose. He raised his hand and touched her face lightly and brushed the back of his fingers along her skin softly ~*~
And I was doing it again.
Just like I had that night in the bar.
Her face was pale now, her eyes closed lightly and her lips still that same red. Once again I brought my hand to her face, slowly brushing the back of my fingers along her cheek and then her lips. Turning her head slightly I regarded the two holes in her neck. They were puffy and swollen.
Guilt seemed to be rising in my stomach. Once again my instincts have shown that I cant get close to anyone, not that I had even been that close to Lilly! I was a blood thirsty Vampire, I couldnt have feelings. I was destined to be alone forever.
I looked down at Lillys face and saw small drops of rain on her already cool face. Suddenly a whirlwind of emotion was sweeping up within me. A mixture of hatred, depression, love and lust. A look of revoltion came upon my face as I began to stand up, and I dropped her fragile body to the ground. Her hair was falling over her.
Only then I felt Rogans presence. I smirked at him, one of those heartless hating smirks I had become so good at.
Sorry, luv. I was hungry and she was around. Better luck next time, although Im sure you would just love to tear up her body and put it in a doggy bag for latter.

Re: Standing on a hill
He barely glanced at Lilly. His keen eyes had seen the drama unfolding as he had approached. He had seen Lewis drop her carelessly to the groundand he had noticed the puncture marks on her neck. He sniffed the air. Her scent was different, but he could smell life in her.
A low growl rumbled in his throat as he took a step closer to Lewis. He could feel himself changing, could feel the wolf rising within him. That was not what he wanted at this moment, and he fought back that urge. But the scent of bloodHER bloodon Lewiss smirking lips was almost too much to bear. Rogan kept eye contact with him as he continued to move closer. He was barely a foot away from him now. Lewis didnt back away. He had to give the vampire credit for that. But that smirk on his face had faded slightly. He could see reaction in Lewiss eyes but it wasnt precisely fear he saw. It was.what? Shrewdness? Calculation? The vampire was a complex one, no question about that. But right now, Rogan didnt really care.
He turned his head sharply to the right, as though he had heard someone approach. As he expected, Lewis did the same. Rogan took advantage of this break in the vampires concentration and sprang at him. He grabbed Lewiss neck with one hand, and grabbed the back of his hair with the other, pulling his head back, exposing his throat. Rogan opened his mouth to speak, but the words turned into a snarl. He could smell her blood on him, the scent was intoxicating. Of course, he would NEVER permit himself to taste her not directly. She was beyond his reachshe would be neither his food nor his mate. But He reached his tongue out and licked around the edges of Lewiss mouth. He felt his body heat at the taste that lingered on the vampires lips. He could not have Lilly himselfhe had long since accepted that. But he would have the taste of her! He looked into the vampires eyes. They were dark, the pupils dilated with could it be fear? He laughed slightly, but it, too, came out more as a growl than anything else. Oh yes, the beast had hold of him now. It would be only moments before he changed, before his tongue would be within the muzzle of the wolf, not long before that tongue lapped at the throat that his teeth would tear open. But not before he had what he wanted as a man.
He pressed his mouth hard against Lewiss, and for a brief moment Rogans lips were soft, almost tender. But it was only a brief moment. As he felt Lewiss lips part slightly, he forced his tongue between those lips and into his mouth. The taste of her was everywhere now. And Rogan sought that taste with a hunger that heated every pore of his body. He probed deeply, rubbing his tongue over every surface he touched. The vampires teeth were sharp and he could taste his own blood as it mingled with the remnants of Lillys blood. That mingling aroused him and he growledbut this time it came out more as a moan than a growl. The man in him was warring with the wolf, arousal warring with bloodlust. Rogan did not, himself, know which would win.
Suddenly he felt a handlike an iron vicegrab him from behind and he was pulled sharply away from that warm, sweet mouth. He turned quickly, ready to strikeand felt a sharp blow across his face as he was flung hard against a nearby tree. Nearby! It was a good 20 feet away!
I told you if I catch either of you in combat with each other again the consequence would be unbearable. Damians voice was enraged. Rogan noted this, because it was seldom that Damian even raised his voice. Yet he was certain that a deaf person in the next village could have heard his words this time.
He rose slowly, his eyes on the immortal.
Damian glared at Lewis, his eyes glowing red in the darkness. Lewis took an instinctive step backwards. But Damian had already turned his attention to Rogan. Do NOT think I do not know what is in that flea infested head of yours, Rogan! he snarled, baring his teeth in an extremely good imitation of Rogans wolf. He seemed barely to move, yet he stood face to face with Rogan now, so close that Rogan could feel his breath upon his lips.
It was not quite what you think, Damian. I Rogan began, an instinctive need to defend his actions to Damian prompting his words.
I dont need to think about what I saw, Rogan! Damian spat at him. Your tongue was practically down his throat and I could SMELL your arousal from across the green! WhatEVER explanation you have is COMPLETELY unimportant to me. He turned and walked to where Lillys unconscious body lay. A slow smile curled his lips. I see our lovely Lilly has met with a bit of an accident. How sad forher. He prodded hernot too gentlywith the toe of his boot. A soft moan of pain rose from her lips. Well, she isnt dead at least. So she will still be of SOME use to me. He turned to Lewis, his eyes hardening. You had better watch yourself, vampire. If you interfere with my plans or with anything ELSE you will find yourself staked to the ground and staring up at your last sunrise!

Re: Standing on a hill
Touchy, touchy Damian. Id never dream of messing with your precious plans, oh great master. I made a sarcastic bow and looked up. He was already fuming and I had just made him go over the top. In two quick strides he was in front of me. I felt a pain to the side of my face and stumbled back a few steps. He had backhanded me. Blood dripped down the side of my lip, I licked it off in one quick move of my tongue.
I glared at Rogan. How dare he touch me! He had NO right! And yet I responded to his kiss, as though I wanted it. I spat at the ground to get the disgusting taste of him out of my mouth. I glanced at Lillys limp body on the ground, Damian would pay. But what DID he have to pay for? I was the one who almost killed her His intentions with Lilly were obviously not pure; he didnt try and conceal his hatred for her. I spat again and with a swish of my cloak I was gone, stalking through the quiet green towards the horses.

Re: Standing on a hill
Rogan watched Lewis stride off across the green. He felt a hot breath escape him and turned quickly away. Damn! If Damian hadnt pulled him from Lewis where would THAT have ended? He took a deep breath and let it out slowly, trying to regain control of his body. The moon wasnt full yetwhich was the only reason he had any control at all! But the scent of blood in the air and the taste of HER bloodmingled with his saliva--that now lingered on his tongue inflamed his senses and aroused both the wolf and the man deeply.
He looked at Damian. Damian was watching Lewis also. His back was rigid, his arms straight at his side. The tension in him was palpable. He was a coiled springand very dangerous. Rogan took a few steps toward Damian then checked, his breath nearly stopping as Damian turned to face him. His eyes were red, glowing with a light that owed nothing to reflection. His darkly handsome face was a mask of hatred. Rogan took a step back. He glanced down at Lilly, and wondered immediately why he had done that as Damians lips curled slowly into a sneer.
Worried about her, Rogan? he asked quietly. Apparently Lewis shares your concernthough not as deeply, I suspect since he threw her body to the ground and has now abandoned her.
Damian raised his hand slightly and the two elves appeared as if from nowhere. Rogan noticed that their normally pristine clothes were bloodstained, as were their hands. Damian gestured at Lilly, his lips curling in disgust. Take her to the horses and start off. If she wakes, keep her silent. I dont want her muttering any annoying spells.
Both brothers stared at Lilly as if she had suddenly turned into a deadly serpent. Wha cher mean spells? Brim asked, his eyes wide and suspicious. Yer mean ers a He shuddered, not wanting to even say the word.
Damian glared at him. Yes, shes a witch! Cant you SMELL that on her? She positively reeks of it! Would have thought at least YOU two would have noticed that! he spat. He glanced at Rogan and then across the green toward Lewis and continued, his voice dripping with sarcasm. Though it would seem that some OTHERS are too blinded by their mutual lust to notice such a MINOR detail!
He glared at them again, his lips drawn back in a snarl. Now take her away before I decide to kill her outright!
Brim hesitated, but Taurnil reached down and picked her up, throwing her roughly over his shoulder. Lord! Ers eavy as ell! He grinned as Lilly moaned slightly. Course if I carry er, I get t keep er, right Dami?
Ey! Ill elp yer carry er! Taint fair if yer get t keep er fer yerself! Brim whined.
Damian looked at Rogan and laughed as he saw Rogans face pale in the moonlight. When I am done with her, you may BOTH keep her. You can work out theer unpleasant details between you
The elves set off across the green. Rogan could hear them squabbling heatedly as they shifted her from one to the other. He winced as he heard a dull thud as they occasionally dropped her during the exchange.
Damian, you arent really going to let them have her, are you? He tried to keep any emotion from his voice, but he knew that was impossibleand he waited for the onslaught of Damians temper.
It didnt come. Instead, Damian just looked at Rogan. His eyes were back to black now, the fire no longer burning in them. He met Rogans gaze and held it. Rogan he began, his voice so soft that even that one word sounded like a caress, If I made you choose, who would you choose?
Damian reached out and traced the line of Rogans cheek with one long finger. Rogan could see the blood under the nail. Would you choose her?
He ran the fingers of his other hand through Rogans, letting the slightly tangled strands slip slowly through his fingers. Would you choose Lewis? Rogans eyes flickered. Damian laughed shortly, the sound coming from deep within his chest. Do you think I hadnt noticed that before?
He slipped his hand around to the back of Rogans neck, his fingers so light on his skin that Rogan shivered slightly. Or would you choose me? Damian leaned down and pressed his lips against Rogans and kissed him slowly, tenderly. Rogans knees shook as Damian slid his tongue into his mouth, the familiar taste of the immortal flooding his senses. Instinctively Rogan slipped his arms around Damian and pressed against him. Damian let his hand slowly travel down from Rogans neck, over his shoulder, down his arm. Rogan moaned softly against Damians lips as Damians hand found its way to the front of his pants and began slowly rubbing him, stirring his already aroused flesh into a throbbing mass of desire.
Damians breath was hot against Rogans mouth as he whispered, Who would you choose, Rogan? Rogan could feel Damians own arousal as he rubbed himself against Rogan, his hand holding Rogan from behind, keeping him from pulling away. Rogan shuddered, his body already making that choice for him. He twisted himself around so that his back was to Damian. He pushed himself against Damian, rubbing his buttocks slowly over Damians hard flesh.
Damian undid Rogans pants and let them slip to the ground, taking Rogans erection into his hand and stroking it gently. He brought his other hand down and undid his own pants.
Rogan gasped as Damians hot flesh rubbed against his buttocks, teasing him. Damian Rogan moaned, an unmistakable plea in his voice.
Damian licked the back of Rogans neck, his tongue tracing hot little circles over Rogans skin. Damian pulled away slightly. Rogan moaned again and reached back, trying to move Damian back against him, trying to pull him inside him. Damians grip on Rogans swollen flesh tightened. Who would you choose, Rogan? His breath was so hot that each word seemed to burn into Rogans skin.
Rogans response came out in little more than a gasp, the words driven to his lips by a desire for what was familiar, immediate. You, Damian. I would choose you.
Damian suddenly released him, pushing him away. Rogan stumbled forward, landing on his knees on the damp ground.
You are a slut, Rogan. Damian said coldly, buttoning his pants around his still swollen flesh. Anyone could have asked you that questionANYONE!and gotten the same answer! If Lewis had been rubbing your ass you would have said, You, Lewis. I would choose you! If Lilly had her pretty little lips wrapped around your sweet, tender flesh you would have said You, Lilly. I would choose you! My GOD! You would **** a dog if it licked your balls! You are a slut, Rogan. A ****ing slut! He turned and walked across the green.

Re: Standing on a hill
I reached the horses and paced between the trees where they were kept, and for the first time I wondered why Damian let us keep Lilly. He knew what she was, if I had figured it out then he would have. What did he want her around for if he knew at anytime she could destroy us all? He was afraid of her. He had lived for centurys, and a GIRL could end his life within seconds from a wave of her hand and a soft mutter from her lips. I laughed loudly. Lilly could have killed me when I was draining her own life. But she stopped her blood flow so I wouldnt drain her completely. Putting HER life in more danger.
Rogan. He NEVER deserved her. And Damian and Rogan were so damn tight that Rogan was practically hitched to the immortal's ass. Rogan would probably kill Lilly at the snap of Damian's fingers. I felt both fangs cut into my lips as anger flooded through my body.
A soft thud sounded outside the trees. Before I could turn, I fell to my knees. That soft thud had sent ripples of energy through the ground. A ripple you can only feel if your senses were heightened. I would congratulate myself for that latter. I shot up and ran to the tree line. It was still dark, but being a vampire, the dark didnt bother my vision.
In the distance I could make out Three figures, one had bent down to pick the second one up; the third was pushing the first.
Brim and Taurnil.
Those damned elves! They would **** anything walking. Only of course if Damian gave them permission. I went up to meet them. Brim was pushing Taurnil who was trying to walk carrying Lilly over his shoulder, letting her head crash against his hard shield. I barred my teeth.
What are you two idiots doing? I hissed.
Well ER- Taurnil won give me 'er turn ter carry Lilly. Brim began.
He kept droppin 'er! argued Taurnil. I sighed.
Give her to me. If the request was to carry her like a ****ing sack of potatoes then I applaud you. But I doubt it was. Brim suddenly gripped her tighter and turned away.
No! he said fiercely. If we carry er we gets to keep 'er!
Yah! Thats what Dami said! added Taurnil.
What? I spat dangerously stepping closer, my knuckles white and my palms bleeding from how tightly I had my fists clenched. There is NO way in hells name I would let either of you touch her, before I killed you both.
Lewis! Damian had appeared behind the elves that were now grinning stupidly at the return of their master. I told you if you interfered with my plans I would have you staked to the ground. When I am finished with the witch I am giving her to the elves. Damian smiled a wicked taunting smile.
Rogan came up the green next, a venomous look on his face.
Alright pack the horses and lets ride off. We need to find shelter before dawn or Vampire boy will be dust.
Brim winked and rubbed Lillys ass. I bared my teeth and made a biting motion. Brim just grinned.
Taurnil, she gets Ter ride wit me. I called 'ER! Brim smiled triumphantly and Taurnil whined.

Re: Standing on a hill
Rogan had to walk past Lewis to get to his horse. Otherwise he would have avoided him like the bubonic plague. And that was for a couple of different reasonsnone of which Rogan really wanted to explore right now. But the fact was, he HAD to walk past Lewis, and part of him suspected that Lewis meant for that to be the case.
As he neared the vampire, he caught the scent of blood. Not Lillys blood this time, though. It was Lewiss own blood. Rogan let out a short, hot breath. NOT what he was looking for right now! Damn Damian! He had NOT helped matters tonight.
Rogan stopped in front of Lewis, glaring at the vampirewho glared back. This is all your fault, Lewis! he spat. If you had been able to keep your filthy desires in check and had left her alone He was interrupted by Damians grabbing him by the back of his hair.
MUST I put a leash on you? he hissed. He dragged Rogan away from Lewis, over to Rogans horse. I swear, Rogan, my patience with you is stretched beyond belief right now! His black eyes flashed as they met Rogans green and gold ones.
Damians face was only inches away from Rogans, and Rogan could feel his breath on his skin. He felt himself growing aroused by that warm caressin spite of the pain Damians earlier words had caused him. He felt a wave of self-disgust wash over him. God! He was even worse than Damian had said! He couldnt even control himself for 5 minutes! And he didnt have the excuse of a full moon to salve his conscience! He tried to turn his face away from Damian, but Damian still held his hair in an iron grip.
Damian sighed and let go of Rogans hair. Rogan he began, his voice unexpectedly soft. If it were anyone else but you He left the sentence unfinished. Now get that sweet ass of yours on your horse and TRY to control yourself a LITTLEat least for the rest of the night, alright?
Damian turned and strode off toward his own horse, calling briskly over his shoulder, Come on, people! Lets get underway. I dont want the witch waking up and hexing us all before sunrise!
Rogan mounted his horse and started to follow Damian. He caught a look from Lewis as their horses matched steps. Rogan sneered at him. And we dont want vampire boy to turn to dust, now do we? He spurred his horse on until he was abreast with Damian. Damian gave him a quick look, and he half expected some biting comment to go with that look. But instead, he just shook his head and rode on, making no effort to pull his horse away from Rogans.
Rogan glanced over his shoulder and was satisfied to see the look of hatred on Lewiss face.

Re: Standing on a hill
I glared at Rogan, hatred plastered to my snarling face. The asshole. How dare he make such comments to me when he knows he is no more pure then myself? He doesn’t know. He wasn’t there. He didn’t have HER blood practically down HIS throat. He cannot say he wouldn’t have kept in control. At least I didn’t rip her limb from limb and eat her like Rogan would have. He is such a beast.
It’s funny though to watch him. Damian's new sex toy. The boy knows nothing of what he is getting himself into. I have known Damian for longer then He has… and ever will.
A sigh past through my lips. Damian.. The great ****er that he was. Rogan was not the only lover he has had. Alas he has had many. And I don’t regret being one of them. I subconsciously griped the reigns of my horse tighter, making it huff and pick up speed. Damian and I go far back. To when he first found me. Cold and alone, with no one but my own thought to haunt me. But he had taught me, showed me how to take care of myself and accepted me when the rest of the world had banished me. Foolish mortals. If they had been the least bit smart they would have just driven a steak into my damned heart.
Damian had been my lover for quite sometime. But I suspect we had both gotten bored of each other after a while. I have to admit I wasn’t just in for the sex. Damian had been my salvation. And at the time, I had been his. I remember the night when we had both ended it quite clearly.
Lewis frowned and walked out of the Inn. The night was calm and still but there was something about it that had drew him away from the safety of Damian’s arms. One way to settle this unease, go for a drink.
He made his way into the bar, which was a pit of depression tonight. Many people had shed tears in here. He could smell it. He made his way past the smoky tables and to the bar.
“Anything you can come up with.” He said to the bar tender, who nodded and filled a mug with beer. What a simple drink. But it would have to do. He took the drink and scanned bar. Nothing intresting really. But one thing did catch his eye, a shimmer, of what he thought was red being tucked into black. He turned and sawa figure sitting alone in the dark, hunched over and sunken. Its cloak was tightly wrapped around its small form and the hood was up, shadowing the face from wandering eyes. It was a woman. He had long forgotten the taste of a women’s skin. He headed over to her and sat down next to her. There was water on the table around her drink.
“I never thought I would see someone as beautiful as your self in here.” He laughed shortly as though he had expected her to laugh as well. Her face wasn’t visible; her knuckles were white against her glass from gripping it so tightly. She looked at him finally, her eyes were red from crying, her face wet from the tears and her lips redder then any rose. He raised his hand and touched her face lightly and brushed the back of his fingers along her skin softly. She pulled away but did not take her eyes off him. He watched as her watery eyes met his.
“May I be assistance of you sir?” Her voice cracked as she spoke. He chuckled before responding.
“My dear, I merely wish to buy you a drink. It looks like you have had a ruff night” He gestured to the puddle of tears on the table. She sighed and looked around, whipping her face afterward from the water that had been left there.
“Forgive me sir for showing such a hideous display of emotion. I shall not take up your offer on the drink I’m afraid. I really must be heading home before I do something I will regret.” She stood but he grabbed her arm stopping her from going any farther. He stood as well and noticed the difference in height. She wasn’t to short, but would fit perfectly in his arms; he had a sudden urge to do such thing. She was looking at him oddly and he decided it would be good to give her an explanation.
“As a gentlemen I can not let you walk alone in your state, that would be very ungentlemen like of me.” He flashed her a quick smile and to his relief she smiled back.
He found himself then unlocking the door to his room. He thanked the heavens that Damian was not in there. He would have surely gone over the top if he knew he knew Lewis had brought a woman back with him. Lewis didn’t really remember how he ended up back here, but he had.
He turned to the girl, who he now knew as Lilly and sighed. How could he be so attracted to such a feeble creature? Her red hair fell lightly past her shoulders and her green eyes were sparkling…. Her eyes. They were beautiful. A deep green that Lewis could just fall into and be happy not to be taken out of.
He could help himself. He grabbed her around the waist and drew her close to him. He had fallen into those eyes now and his lips had fallen to. She gasped in surprise, which only opened her mouth. He slowly but sensually rubbed his tongue along hers; she pulled back even though she still remained in his arms.
“You know Mr. Lewis, you were being such a gentlemen. What happened?”
“I am always a gentlemen” She laughed slightly and he kissed her again. All was lost. His senses overloaded and his thoughts clouded over. He fell back wards and she clutched his arms, holding on for life. A feathery paradise, which was the bed, stopped them. He smiled and looked at her.
“Are you trying to seduce me, young Lilly?” she laughed.
“ME trying to seduce YOU? You’re the one who pulled me one the bed! Really Mr.Lewis.. I should storm out of here in a fit of rage.” She smiled and so did he.
“Then why don’t you?”
She was asleep in his arms, naked. Making love to her had been an experience he had never had before. He sighed. They would be leaving town in the morning and he didn’t have the heart to tell her it was a one nightstand.
He looked down at her sleeping form. She did fit perfectly in his arms. He kissed her hair before slipping out of the bed and silently packing his and Damian's things. He looked back at her once before he left. This truly wasn’t fair.
Damian showed up not to long afterwards. Lewis met him at the door. The horses were already packed.
“Lewis.” Damian frowned. “Packed without me?”
“Yes Love I did. Thought we would get a move on… And where were you last night by the way?” Lewis frowned now. And Damian smirked.
“You’ll never know.” He approached Lewis running his hand through his soft hair. “Worried?”
“Yes.” Lewis said. Damian smiled and lightly kissed Lewis’s lips but pulled back sighing. “Damian” Lewis began, “what’s wrong?” A look of pity crossed Damian's eyes.
“Lewis. We have to end this.” Damian sighed again, as Lewis looked confused.
“So… You don’t love me anymore, Damian?”
“Don’t be foolish. You know I love you. But I know that we both know there are others out there for us.”
“We do think alike.”
“Yes. But I still will always love you. I reserve part of my heart for you. Even if I find others that I love. And hopefully you do the same for me.”
“Of course I do Damian.” Lewis moaned as Damian's Lips had suddenly parted his and was kissing him deeply and passionately.
“So we are in agreement then.” He whisperd against Lewis’s lips.. “Now lets get a move on. I must explain my brilliant plan to you.”
I snapped out of it as I heard Brim moan. My head shot in his direction. He was rubbing up against Lilly.
“Brim you sorry excuse for an elf! Get off her now!” I snarled, baring my teeth. Damian turned his horse around and stopped it right in front of mine; I stopped before hitting him.
“Lewis!” He hissed “How dare you defy me again! I told you NOT to interfere with my plans and I wasn’t kidding! I don’t understand how you can defend that witch!” My eyes were betraying me. Damian could tell what I had been thinking about. Brim rubbing against Lilly hadn’t quite got my emotions in check. The day Damian had ripped part of my heart out was still in my mind. For that was the day we had also found Rogan. I hated him from the moment I saw him. And he made Damian forget all about me. Damian had gotten his new student. I was just.. there. Worthless and feeling once again alone.
Damian's eyes softened and his hand twitched. For a second I thought he was going to do something he hadn’t done for a long time. He sighed, instead and turned away.
“Don’t let it happen again Lewis. I want you to keep focused. She is a mere distraction.”
