One day long ago, Iused to laugh and play
I used to run about,Having no worries or doubts
You were here,Chasing away all my childish fears
You supported us,Working hours that could make anyone bust
Then that was gone,And you went along
You abandoned me and Thomas,Even though you promised to stay here;I was too little at the time to know you were dead,As I climbed into my bed.
I later realized you weren't coming back,
Because of some stupid act
And I was beat,You weren't there so I was defeat
Now there are scars,Faded like lost stars
From the wires,That were heated like fire
And slapped onto my skin,Like I was a recycling bin
It was a long time ago,In another life that seems to have gone by
After some years of hardly getting along,I'm happy and no longer singing a sad mournful song.
