Hit and Run
Looks like I'm back
on the side of road
and driving away
is a black limousine
with its windows tinted
and closed up tight
I can't see who left me
in this Hit and Run life.
Life has become
a tedious obligation.
When it comes time to say goodbye,
Don't hang on,
promise me you'll let me go.
Let me be the the one
to stand up and say
stop, it's time to end the show.
I can't stand it anymore.
just breathing.
when existing isn't there.
Walking, talking,
Smiling, crying
Dying seems to be
the only way out of here.
