You're Still Straight If... - Tuesday, February 03, 2004

My head is taking a break today—at least that is my plan at the moment. But I have to just share something my dear friend Kyle said to me.

He and I were talking about his social life—or current lack thereof. His last girlfriend broke up with him—as most have—over fidelity issues. *shakes head* Kyle has difficulty with monogamy. His problem now is that he has probably “dated” most of the females in town. And the ones he has not dated, have heard of his “issues” from their friends—who HAVE dated Kyle. I suggested to him that perhaps he should try looking for a boyfriend instead of a girlfriend.

*grins* I cannot POSSIBLY convey the look of sheer horror on his face when I said that.

“I’m ****ing straight, you ****!” he stated vehemently.

Ok… this statement, in itself, would be fine. Would have left it alone except for the fact that he said it while in my bed after a very nice sexual experience, the second one he and I have had during our friendship (which is about 11 years old).

I pointed out to him that, excuse me… I am a male and you were just ****ing me… Hmm… Something a bit wrong with that statement then?

Kyle, in complete sincerity, said: “If you are the one doing the ****ing, you are still straight.”

….ok
