The Countess

Backround... Tonight, I was the lead in a play about a countess. I, obviously, was the countess, and did a horrendous job, becuase I was upset and not in character. So, I am doing an R/P as her just to proove that I CAN be her... no need to know her story... If i potray her well enough, it wont matter what her specific traits are cuz you will pick up on them... as for looks, just picture me... horrble as it is, I never said she was a beautiful countess, just a countess. So here goes...

*Stands out on the balcony of the tallest tower of her palace, her golden gown shimmering in the moonlight, her medium length blonde hair blowing in the gentle breeze* *Sees a shooting star and sighs, making a wish as I sit alone. I begin to hum a song as I wait for someone to join me...*

Hope you get your wish this time. *A tall girl steps out onto the balcony. Her hair is unbound and the breeze tangles the dark curls around her face.

*The dark-haired girl threw back her head and laughed.* Oh dear sister... you know very well that the guards cannot hear you up here!

*She laughed again, her dark eyes flashing in the moonlight. She leaned against the balcony and looked down.* And if you think anyone down there will come to your aid, you are much mistaken. They are all either still celebrating our brother's marriage--or sleeping off their celebrations!

*A knock on the wall behind the balcony is heard. A girl, fourteen years of age, takes a step onto the balcony. Her golden-brown hair lies on her shoulders. Her icy blue gown seems dull within the moonlight. Her grey eyes stare at the two.*
I heard someone yelling. I thought maybe there was something exciting to witness at such a dull time. Unfortunate for me, it is only the two of you.

*I turn to the girl* Leave me. You are to young to understand the gravity of these events... Both of you, just... go... *I look at both my sisters and when they dont leave I burst past them and into the hall leading to the balcony. I run to my room and slam the door, locking it so only the servants may enter.*

*She looks to where her sister ran past and then chuckles softly to herself. She slowly moved to the balcony and leaned against it looking downward as the breeze made her hair lift from her shoulders. She lays her head onto her arms and looks up at her other sister.*

And what are YOU looking at? *The dark sister demanded--but her tone held no reproach. She looked up at the moon and in the moonlight it could be seen that her eyes, which at first glance appeared as dark as her black hair, were actually blue--but a blue as dark as the midnight sky.

She laughed softly.* Our sister thinks I actually WANT her Owein!

*She took her head from her arms and sighed.*

Oh? I thought it was you who begged father for his hand, fully knowing he wasn't yours.

*She took her hands from the balcony and looked down.*

Or am I mistaken? Being youngest, I am barely able to hear gossip from the servants, let alone hear any information first hand for myself.

*Her gaze slowly picked up from the ground and looked up at her dark sister. Her grey eyes focused on her sister's, smiling slightly.*

Well, dear sister?
