She gave him a weird look then raised her hand and looked at it. Around one of her fingers was a small ring. Placed in the center of it was a small, delicate, light blue stone. It shined in the sunlight when she moved around her hand. She looked back up at the boy.

She noticed that her ring was starting to grow warm at a rapid pace. She cursed loudly at it and slid it off quickly, dropping it into the long grasses. She fell to her knees, frantically searching for it.
"Damnit! I can't lose that.. I've had it since as long as I can remember.."
She searched quicker, moving the long, thick blades of grass with her hands fast, trying to find it..
